I did not actually take a full interest in Glock until I joined the forum. I listened to others here and figured I was missing out. The whole experience was beneficial to me. Thanks, "Glockies"! End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

I'm assuming he'll start another thread. Just like Jussie, he's achin' for some attention. "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

I own one (1) Glock, and that only because I haven't gotten around to listing it. Have no interest in them. Guess I must not belong here? Oh, wait... Maybe I can stay. Does owning and talking about 1911's count the same as owning and talking about Glocks, in this context? "America is at that awkward stage. Well I'll be the other guy.... even though I don't agree with his quitting.... It took me a while to learn that you can criticize a Sig here but god forbid you say something bad about a Glock. Now with that said I have to admit I'm not a big fan of striker fired for carry and I think most Sigs are much prettier than any Glock out there.... but then I do have to say they aren't nearly as ugly once you own one, let alone three. Indeed. I’ve openly discussed the past fleas with the Glock. And the problems the feds have had in their testing. It’s complete hogwash to claim otherwise.

Not to mention the light issues on the early .40s and the weird ejection on the Gen 4s or crappy Gen 4 finish. It’s all been discussed. I’ve never seen anybody shoot anybody down for not liking a particular pistol. People get ribbed for poo’ing in the You Will Buy A Glock thread but that is mostly because If you don’t want to buy a Glock…….why post there? "Guns are tools. The only weapon ever created was man."

Also keep in mind that most folks here are, and I say this with love in my heart, assholes. . We all seemed to have grown up with friends and in environments where taking shots at each other was a sign of respect and friendship. My friends and I can be savage to each other and none of us would have it any other way and frankly if we stopped we would be worried they didn’t care at all. But when it counts there are some really good folks here. "Guns are tools. The only weapon ever created was man."

The resentment he harbors for Glock is strong. I’m picturing his parents getting divorced in ‘94. The father was a S&W engineer that helped develop the Sigma, but was let go after the lawsuit. Instead of paying alimony and support for his toddler son(that is already showing signs of several behavioral disorders),he moves south to Smyrna to escape the harsh winters of Springfield Mass. Biological father lands a job working in the shipping department at Glock, as a fork truck operator.

You always have to pop into threads like this and stick your fucking foot in your mouth. As usual, you don't know what you're talking about. This forum has been in operation for more than two decades. There have been plenty of negative things said about Glocks. It's ridiculous to say this is not so. When you see someone say something like "A budget version of a Glock is better than Glocks themselves" and gets stepped on for such bullshit, you think this means no one can legitimately criticize Glocks. Where were you during the whole "brass to the face" period? That was discussed at great length in this forum. You need to understand something- at some point, I'm going to get tired of you playing the forum contrarian. I am patient with a thing until I am patient with it no more, and that has a tendency to happen suddenly. You keep your critiques of this forum to yourself.

Over the years, the Glock thread has been repeatedly referred to as "fly paper for trolls". And here we are again, showing the truth of that statement.
