Define "compact". A Sig P225A1 might fit the bill.

Did the P229 get discontinued? Can you clarify what it is you are after?

P229 is too big for me to carry; their P250 SC was a great gun size; it should have been a TDA.

CZ would be nice if they didn't have to be shipped off for better springs and riddence of the hammer cam.

What he said. The 225A1 ain't terribly hard to tuck away - or did you want something more like an SC?

Not sure I follow. I carry a P01 with stock springs and parts and it is in no way any lesser of a gun than any Sig in stock form.

I have a P07 as well and once I swap out the sights - I will carry that too.

Looks like you are looking for a 239 sized gun?

RAMI is really fat, I carry 225 and think my RAMI is huge compared to it.

Wife carries a Ruger LC9 (not LC9S), she loves it.

Bigger than a bread box?

Do you have a capacity in mind?

That's a tough one. Since they dropped the third generation S&W's, thin DA/SA are few and far between in my opinion. I'd like to find one myself. The Springfield XD-E might make a good candidate.

I've put strikers aside for now; broke the trigger return spring on the last new CZ i had; also, hammer cam on these drive me nuts; the storm compact carry looks interesting until you see the price; prefer 12 round capacity.

I've been considering the sub-compact PX4. Also in the running is a P365...but I loves me some DA/SA and want a small gun. Right now the smallest I have is a P6 and it is pretty darn big (relative to the sub-compacts...I've carried a P226 a bunch so I don't mind the big-uns).

I have owned two PX4 full size pistols. Excellent. I sold the first because I was stupid and the second because I was getting out of 40. I have been looking at the PX4 compact the last few weeks and I might take the plunge. We'll see. I also notice that the standard Beretta 92FS compact (no rail) has been available recently. I own one but never carried it but with the announcement of the Mec Gar 15 round mags I just may order a holster.

After years of trying everything else I have decided on the 92 series as my go to pistol.
