Well kids bid on one and got one cheaper than I thought possible ($1675). They got it for my promotion present. Should be here next week.
Will try to run a few hundred rounds through it.

Anyone have suggestions on holsters?

Beautiful!

Mine arrived yesterday. I'm going to try to shoot it tonight.

My CZ75 Compact grips "fit" but the CZ screws don't fit and the DWX screws are too short. I'm going to try some regular 1911 length screws if I can find some orings.

My trigger gauge says 4lbs.

Not trying to steal your thunder, Sigwolf. Just figured we’d keep it in the same thread.

We got busy tonight. Finally got some downtime. Grabbed a coworker and we shot a quick 100 rounds through it. 50 fmj and 50 jhp. 12ft, 21ft, 30ft, 50ft and 75ft.

This thing is dead nuts accurate! 100 rounds in one target. We both shot a little high.

I had no issues. Coworker got bit a few times by the hammer. His hand is meatier than mine. He said a larger beavertail would solve his issue. All three mags were CZ mags. The two that came with the gun and one used one I bought from Ryanp225 last month that I added a Henning baseplate to.

I have four more baseplates arriving today to try my four new MecGar mags. Will try to shoot it this weekend.

Henning baseplates arrived for the MecGar mags and 1911 grip screws with an o-ring worked on the LOK grips. Ready for another quick hundred rounds tonight.

The more the merrier. Hopefully going to the range tomorrow. Have some Hennings baseplates and more mags on the way.

Traded 4 guns I fell out of interest + cash for one today.

I just love how well it fits my hand. Had a CZ 75B several years back that I sold cause I didn't like the trigger or the slide (too small for my hands). I liked the grip so really pleased CZ/DW collaborated on this one.

This gun knocks it out of the park. Can't wait to shoot it this weekend.

I'm interested in the grip issue.

So, you tried some CZ75 Compact grips and they fit but the screw that came with the DWX for the DWX grips was too short?

Then the screws that were from the CZ75 Compact didn't fit, as in they were too large/small or threaded differently?

Odd the DWX screws were too short. Was that the LOK grips you had that issue with? That's really odd.

I specifically ordered the LOK grips for the CZ 75 Compact because people said it would fit. It comes with CZ sized screws which are threaded differently than the DWX/DWX Compact. They went with standard threaded 1911 screws but a little shorter.

The screws that came with the grips will thread in a little bit but then pop and comes out. The DWX screws were too short. LOK said I could try and remove material from inside the grip to make them work with the DWX screws but I could also try some 1911 spec screws with an o-ring. LOK is working on sourcing the correct screws for the DWX.

I grabbed some 1911 screws I had and some o-rings and I got the LOK grips to fit perfectly now.

We got busy so I didn't get to try the mecgar mags. I'll try again tomorrow night. I also have some nato spec 124gr winchester ammo somewhere to try.

LOK emailed again and said it will be another month or two but they will have correct length 1911 spec screws for the DWX Compact.

Did another quick 100 rounds through with all 147gr ammo. No issues. MecGar mags all worked fine. This weekend, I will do 100 rounds of Winchester NATO spec 124gr ammo and 100 rounds of Ranger 124gr+P then call it broken in enough for carry if no issues.

Those LOK grips are sweet. So if I understood correctly you just need standard 1911 grip screws and O rings? And new baseplates for the million CZ mags I own. Lol

Yes, standard 1911 grip screws fit and the orings is to fill the hole in the grip according to LOK? Something like that. Grips fit, screws don't. lol

Someone said the old 14rd baseplates work fine? I don't have any of those.

This won't help then: lol

grips actually darkened while I was cleaning the gun. Guess it needed a little oil. Ordered an IWB holster from ANR. It just shipped today.

Well, sorta. The compact mags DO work, but not with the base plates that come with them. You have to order the DWX baseplates from CZ for 14.95, if the have them in stock, or from Hennings, the exact same baseplates but for 19.95. Go figure.

So, DWX compact mags cost $55 if in stock, CZ compact factory mags are $41.95 plus $14.95 for base plates and it's $56.90, more if you go with Hennings. At least with the full size the P-10 F mags will work without changing the baseplate.

I don't know about the Mec-Gar mags for the CZ compact.

Still not sure why a 19 round magazine costs less than a 15 round magazine, but.....
