Depends on the platform. For the M14/M1A they are the go-to for example. For the Beretta 92/M9 they've been problematic over the years but IME are generally functional.

As long as you stay away from the parkerized ones and play over in the Middle East, those Checkmate mags are fine. Still, I'd spend a little more and get MecGars (especially for 2011 mags).

I seem to remember some feeding issues and rough or sharp feed lip issues when Sig first started using them but from what I remember those issues were corrected but many seemed to flip them when they would get them with a new gun purchase.
I have several 45acp & 9mm-1911 mags that have been flawless though.

I've never had issue with my Checkmate 1911 10mm mags. But they are only used for slow, methodical shooting with no reloads at speed. So fine for what I use them for, but only rates about 45% on the trust meter.
