Ported and comped, and pimped-out parts to boot.

Well, now I know why we need an XXL slide, and maybe a super mega slide for the 320.

Honestly, though, do all those ports do anything useful with a 9mm?

Just when I thought that the 'enhanced' Sig models were a no.

Thinking the Kel-Tec doesn't seem all that bad...

Hmmm. You can find standard P365XLs online with SIG's Romeo Zero optic included for $560 shipped, and it looks like this will sell for about twice that without an optic. I actually like the look of the comp, but would prefer to avoid porting on a carry pistol, and don't care for the gold. It reminds me of S&W's "gun of the month" days. Maybe it'll be valuable to collectors 50 years from now if they stop production soon because of low sales! You can't blame them for trying to make as many sales as possible, though. It can't cost too much more to make than a standard model, with modern manufacturing methods, and I suspect the profit margin is much higher.

I just don't get some of these manufacturers at times and I guess that is why I don't get the appeal.

That seems kind of high based on what the rest of the P365 line sells for. There is another thread just below this with a P365XL tac pack for $499. This is $700 more? Sig must be really proud of this one.

It costs a lot of money to machine those holes in the slide.

$1,100 is more or less two P320C’s.

That comp doesn't look like it would be very effective.
