Looks very nice. Glad it functioned to your expectations too. These old work horses need some love too. And the fact that you did what appeals to your eye makes it even more special. Great work! Too many SIGs .. ... Nah not really

I dig it. It would be interesting to shoot it immediately back to back with a standard one to feel the difference. --------------------------- My hovercraft is full of eels.

Got it back to the range for a few minutes today. Does anyone have experience with installing lpa sights? The lowest adjustment on the rear sight, still puts the impact point about 12 inches high at 25y. My only solution is to add a taller front sight. Anyone know if I’ve done something wrong? Ummm… besides taking off the perfectly good sights. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Shack,

I love all the Classic SIGs, and while I'm the type that doesn't modify my guns(I do SRT), I can still appreciate when others do, and yours looks nice. I've been looking at those EFK P6 barrels as I haven't found any other new made P6 barrels available. Question: Shack, Have you tried that EFK barrel with hollow points? If so, any issue with the EFK Barrel feeding hollowpoints? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Austin228,

If I am understanding you correctly, you currently have an LPA rear sight paired with the factory front sight?

No it was the set, Lpa carry set I installed a suppressor height siglite night sight I had handy. It works. Not sure why the Lpa front sight was too low.

A gunsmith should be able to modify your barrel to geed hp's.

Very nice. I have never shot a P6. Haven't even seen one live. They look like really nice guns, and yours is spectacular. I really wish a decent aftermarket trigger existed for these guns.
Never even seen one live? With your tenure on this forum, I think you now have a new life goal. Lol.

I’m obviously missing something in this thread. I see the two videos on page 1 but I don’t see any pictures that obviously elicited a couple of “that looks great” comments. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." You don’t see them in the first post? Or a couple others in subsequent posts? Try this https://postimg.cc/gallery/k2DG4K5

It looks like something out of a Resident Evil game. I like it. I didn't even realize they made a comp for those.

I see the resident evil look. Need to get it to the range and sighted in. Finally got the matching elevated front sight installed, the weather has just been crap. Technically there wasn’t a comp for it. I just figured it would work with an Armory Craft comp made for the p226. Once I got it and the threaded barrel installed, I sent a pic to Milos and asked if he thought it would work. He said, we honestly have never tried it but it should. The p6 photo on the Armory Craft website is actually this pistol, before I was done building it. Unfortunately… I haven’t received any royalty checks yet

I have to apologize, I missed your message. I actually do have the efk ported barrel. It was the original barrel I intended to use for this pistol. I ended up going a different direction obviously. I have not tried hollow points out of the ported barrel, but I am willing to test it out, if you are still wanting to know.

If you're willing to, that'd be awesome because if they work I'd order one from the site I saw them on. EDIT: thanks to Asteirman as well for answering my question, I'd like to try one I think in my P6.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Austin228,

I purchased a P6 a while back it came with an additional EFK SS barrel. Feeds hollow points. No problems with the barrel and the accuracy is outstanding. Skill on Demand Manos Arriba !

“If you're willing to, that'd be awesome because if they work I'd order one from the site I saw them on.” Finally got to the range with 2 ported ekf barrels. Put them in a stock p6 and they both functioned perfectly. Only ran 8 rounds through each though. Not sure why but I’m always amazed at the accuracy of these 40-50 year old pistols.
