I like to tinker and I like P6’s. Purchased this one off GB for $315 and the slide off eBay for $60, no box or papers so I customized it a bit, just for fun.
Sig Armorer - Superstrut, Wolff - 13lb recoil spring and firing pin spring, Armory Craft - compensator and dual adjustable trigger, Nill grips, efk threaded barrel, lfa carry sights, h series gloss black and blackout.

There are a couple port holes, but are not being used currently. I know this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but I had fun doing it and like it.

That looks like a very competent, very fun range toy!

That puppy has some old school style! I like it.

I have to admit, I haven't heard of EFK barrels for Sigs. You get a chance to get it to the range yet? How is the accuracy of the barrel? What do you think of the comp?

Haven’t shot it yet. Need to adjust a few spots on the barrel. Also waiting on some new roll pins and an srt.

I have not, but I’ve seen several people using Efk conversion barrels for their sigs

Another vote for "if you had fun doing it and like it, that's all that matters".

OTOH, I also like the way you think. That is something neat to try.

That would fit nicely in my safe. I am a big fan of the P-6s.

Thanks for the kind words. I was bracing for the verbal lashings, haha. Looking forward to being able to provide a range report.

Not yet. Got the barrel fitting well and the srt. When I put the breech block back in I forgot to install the new firing pin spring, since I’m changing the roll pins, just going to wait until they get delivered. Roll pins are scheduled for delivery monday. Should get her to the range Wednesday.

So I’ll be able to let yall know it doesn’t cycle soon Big Grin

Here’s a pic with the serial matching slide and barrel.

Yeah man. The thumb rest may look a bit odd but it is very comfortable in the hand. It also creates a natural spot for your left hand to rest. Guess they should be, as they rivaled the cost of the pistol. To avoid 12131 calling me out on fake nills, I bought these straight from the factory.

It’s about a 2 month lead time. For cost savings Nill batches shipments to the US in monthly intervals.

Here’s a 225 with more traditional nills. Feels fantastic in the hand also.

Just testing functionality. It works. Almost feels like the slide isn’t cycling when you fire it. Sight’s definitely stay on target better. When I have more time I’ll give more of a range report and comparisons to an unmodified P6. 115g and 124g threw stovepipes. 147 cycled every time.

Sweet!

Looks like everything worked well.

Having an idea from start to finish takes a bit of time and effort that is easy to overlook.

I found that out real quick when converting a few Glocks and a P227 to .38 Super.
