The Quiet Man
| Depends on the holster. Only difference between the TLR 7HL on my duty weapons and the TLR 7X on my G19 is the length of the bezel. I have one holster for a G17 with a Tlr7a that fits my G47 with the HL just fine because they carried the molding for the light all the way out to the muzzle. I had another one that I made work by hitting the end of the holster with a heat gun to soften it enough to open up the tunnel for the end of the light. The Safariland duty holsters I have all work with both lights.
If it’s leather and it’s cut to cover the end of the 7a, it’s probably not going to work. |

For real?

| My TLR1HLX fits in holsters made for the TLR1HL. But I have only tested this in Safariland duty holsters (6/7 series) My TLR7HLX does NOT fit in holsters made for the 7/A/FLEX. Now the TLR-7sub and subHLX are using the same body so they should fit.
Not minority enough! |

Not surprising, in the Safariland gun buckets. I'm more thinking of specifically molded kydex holsters. quote: Originally posted by Chowser: My TLR7HLX does NOT fit in holsters made for the 7/A/FLEX.
But does it work the other way around, is my question... Does your gun with a TLR7A work in a kydex holster molded for the TLR7HLX, with proper retention? |
