147's have proved to be the most accurate across all the pistols I shoot. _____________________________ 'I'm pretty fly for a white guy'.

I swear I had something for this |
Most of the self defense ammo before the Coofie Monster had the 147 being the most available, and there wasn’t a cost difference with Speer Lawman so that’s what I went with.

147gr for almost everything now. I used to be a 124gr guy, but made the move to 147 a few years ago. 147gr HSTs for all my carry guns, and I shoot 147gr ammo (either Precision Delta ammo, or my own reloads) for competition. The one exception is my 320s. For whatever reason, they seems to like 124gr more than anything else. For training or general plinking, I'll shoot whatever is the cheapest.

Whatever is cheap, and that is usually 115 grain. I guess there is some recoil difference, but all 9mm is mild recoiling, so it doesn't matter much. For higher quality fighting ammo, the better bullets seem to be more in the 124 grain weight. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

I’m a 147gr guy. And specifically, a Speer lawman/ gold dot guy. I carry the gold dots, and practice w/ 147 gr lawman TMJ. It is also what I shoot for competition. After all these years, I think my eyes are just calibrated for it.

124gr. I don’t buy 115gr any longer. I buy some 147gr also but only run that in the Scorpion. All my carry pistols I train with 124gr and run HST 124gr +P for carry. What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone
