Thanks for posting so many comparisons.

No problem

Glad you liked the pics

Any word or thoughts from those that have shot the DWX in comparison with the other CZ models or other similar tier semi autos?

I did see one. It is every bit as nice as you think. Plus it has some features they didn’t advertise very well. It’s modular. Don’t think that helps much at the present but eventually it probably will. Beautiful gun. I have zero need for one. I would buy one except I’m waiting for the OR version because I’m not buying it twice.

The DWX looks nice, but I'm still drooling over bac's comparo shots on the prior page, especially those A01s

Thank you. I’m a big fan of the A01. The model on the left is chambered in 357Sig.

Very cool. I doubt I’ll get one, but I know many folks were waiting.

I got to shoot a magazine worth from a DWX. Super easy to shoot, felt great, probably the best group I’ve shot out of a gun that I’m not familiar with. I put short flat triggers in 1911’s, no need on this gun. I like it better than my Shadow 2 or TSO. For sure more than the Prodigy, any 2011 style really, just because the CZ frame fits me better and with the 1911 position thin safety, the DWX grip is awesome. Without takedown, fit and finish was nicely done and a nice trigger on the one I shot. I hate to admit but the straight pull trigger is better to me than the pivoting trigger on my SAO Shadow 2.

Beside the gun itself, the magazines are typical CZ quality and will hold up. No tuning needed etc., and though I relize that’s mostly gone away with the newer mags, it’s worth mentioning.

If I wasn’t so heavily invested in the CZ 75 platform and magazines, I’d swap my Shadow 2 for one. However, a compact DWX uses 74 series mags and may be purchased at a future date. Haha.

There's another reason to hate COVID as this would have been so much better if it came out in 2020 like it was suppose to. The Stealth Arms Platypus steals a lot of this guns thunder and we're also getting more double stack 1911s later in the year.

Well there’s always going to be competition for it. I feel the DWX is one of the best shooting and highest quality pistols in its price range.

I can’t speak for the Platypus, but the DWX holds its own against Staccato’s line of pistols. It’s way nicer than a 2011 like the Prodigy. Not impressed with that gun at all.

There's a lot of folks who feel the same. Certainly it didn't help that there were more than a few examples of the Prodigy at release that were unreliable right from the word 'go'. Then again, as far as I'm concerned that couldn't have happened to a nicer company.
