DID SOMEONE SAY 230/232? I just broke out this two tone 232 for summer carry. These wood Hogue were transferred to my 230SL. The 232 has a set of 230 grips on it. I prefer these over the stock 232 grips. ![]() ![]() Trooper Joe

I sold mine to my father in law a number of years ago. I wish I had not. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I will be your brother, and I'll hold your hand. You should know I'll be there for you!

The 40 239 is taller than more common 9mm 239 and needs larger holster to fit the 40 cal weapon. Many holster makers are not aware the 40 slide is taller. Who makes holster to fit 40 cal 239?

I carry my 9mm 239 in a Mitch Rosen Clipper made for a 40 239. High Noon Holsters is another one. DeSantis makes a few. Akers makes them.

I think you are right about 'molded' holsters but I've never had a problem with a leather one.... I carry a P239 in 357sig (same slide just different barrel)in a Bianchi #100.. same holster that fits a Ruger P95 and such. Edit: While we are on the subject of the P239 and kind of thru in the P230/232 I looked at some of the things I've done in the past and found this picture comparing the two: ![]() My Native American Name: "Runs with Scissors"

Congrats! P239 are excellent pistols. I got a used one in decent condition not too long ago. The grip on it is just perfect to me and has an awesome trigger. Had they been more widely available (not discontinued) i would have gotten one long ago.

The mags are still being produced, in batches. Sign up for in stock notice at the sites that offer it and buy when they show up. Or you could just click the link below for 9mm mags. https://www.midwestgunworks.co...gwi/prod/MAG-239-9-8

I was able to pick up a 9mm yesterday, I had one years ago and foolishly let it go and have been looking for quite a while. It came with 5 mags, I’m not thrilled that the slide was cerekoted battle worn but it’s a good. I will probably have it redone down the road. When I figure out how to post pics, I’ll throw one up

You didn’t really buy it back. You just rented it from her for the rest of your life. Demand not that events should happen as you wish; but wish them to happen as they do happen, and you will go on well. -Epictetus

I wouldn't want my old 239 40 cal. back. The finish was worn off the slide and it had been sweated on too much. However I'd love to have a newish one. Amazing little pistol. It shot like a target pistol.

Cummings Custom Refinishing (a SigForum member) is your friend. My P239 was refinished in Cera-Hide and CPII. I bought it in .357 Sig, but obtained the necessary barrels, magazines, and spring, to convert it to .40 S&W and 9mm. In 9mm, it's at it's most accurate. It's a very versatile system that I'll hang on to, even if it's not usually part of my "rotation," ![]() "I'm not fluent in the language of violence, but I know enough to get around in places where it's spoken."

I've had members at my range, mostly young types who believe all things plastic is the only way to go, call my P239 obsolete, out dated and a relic. Then I let them shoot it, lot of dropped jaws. One of Sig's foolish marketing decisions to discontinue the 239, have two won't part with them, both in 9mm.

I should not admit it here but a little while back I got hooked on the P239 and it seemed for a while the folks here were letting them go. I went to photograph all 8 of mine and could only find 7 then finally realized where # 8 was.... on my side. And I also have a stainless steel slide and barrel in 9mm that I can put on my carry P239 in 357 sig for when I go to the range to practice. So, I really have 8 &1/2. ![]() My Native American Name: "Runs with Scissors"
