That looks just like mine. I thought I had found an amazing deal on their black coated Duty Guard or whatever. Turns out I had bought the blued. I was disappointed at first then I started paying attention and the blued grabbed me. Glad I got it. Yours is beautiful.

Its a newer remlin production 1895 CBA 18” octo barrel 45/70. Probably my favorite lever gun i own.

That's a really beautiful rifle and pairs very nicely with your new Valor! I have a Remlin 1895 Guide Gun, and its a real sweetheart, and very accurate. It kicks like an angry jackass with full-power loads, though. Trailboss is the secret!

9 mm 1911s are super nice to shoot. I have a Springfield 5 inch Range Officer Elite and a 4 inch Range Officer Elite compact. The full size is all steel and has little recoil, plus it's a tack driver!
