ok, a new category.... what's the gun that gives you the most enjoyment out of shooting it??? it can be because you shoot it really well, or it has never let you down, or that you just like how it works mechanically....you get the drift. I'll start.......P7M8

supersig, I am looking high and low for a P220 in 38 super.......they are rarer than hen's teeth, have a gold cup, double eagle, and BDA, but no "true" P220 in super... I think that would be a blast to shoot!!!!

Sheepishly raises hand. I’ve never like “Deagles”. Too big, weird recoil impulse, expensive to shoot and just not all that fun to me beyond a round or two of ooo big badda boom. Not my cup my a bourbon at all really. "Guns are tools. The only weapon ever created was man."

Yes they are. Addictive too. Just when the magazines get empty, I wished Sig had made a P227 in 38 Super. I had to do that myself.
Just before Khar bought Magnum Research, they made an external muzzle brake for the 50AE and 44 Magnum. They were nothing short of spectacular. They were made for about 14 months or so before Khar discontinued this option and decided to go with a ported barrel. I'd also recommend the black checkered aluminum grips and Mark I safety levers.

The one gun that is always in my range bag. The best $110 I’ve spent.

Man that's a hard question! There are so many from so many various genres, and so much of it is based on mood or what I'm feeling on any given day. But if we're just talking just the pure joy of shooting, without regards for training, practicality, or historical significance, I've gotta go with my Ruger Mk-series. They're reliable, accurate, and inexpensive to shoot. If I'm going to the range just to plink around, I've usually got the MkII or the MkIV with me. I just stopped out after a detail today and put a hundred rounds through the MkIV. I set some old shotgun shells up on the plate rack stand so just the top inch or so was visible and shot them off at 15 yards. Then I moved back to 45 yards and started shooting the 6" plates...and was hitting them 8 or 9x out of 10. It's so easy to shoot and yields satisfying results, while being easy on the hand and the wallet. Also, there are no frustrating malfunctions like I seem to get from just about every other semi-auto .22. They're just plain fun to shoot. ETA: shkuhn beat me to it...but great minds think alike!

As much as I love my P229R, I enjoy more shooting my snubnose .357. Hard to say why. Revolvers have souls.

I'm not much of a rifle guy, though I do own a couple ARs and some semi-auto 22LRs (e.g., 10/22). Last year I picked up a Ruger American Rimfire 22LR. It was a good deal, so what the hell, why not? It was probably 4-5 months until I got around to shooting it. Now I won't say, it was overall "the most fun to shoot," but I was surprised how much I enjoyed shooting my first bolt-action rifle. Unlike my semi-autos, it isn't ammo-sensitive, so I didn't have to worry about feed & ejection failures. It's more accurate too, and its trigger is excellent. The bolt-action Ruger American has turned into my favorite 22LR to shoot.

I have to agree with you here. I LOVE my cowboy guns! He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster.

Most Fun Just about anything that is select fire My MP5/357 has always been a big hit at the range With practice it is fairly easy to put 30 rounds on target in a bit over 2 seconds 357SIG MP5 magazine dump However it is getting expensive with today's ammunition prices The Krinker Plinker empties a 50 round magazine of 22LR in about the same time, but for far less cost Krinker Plinker magazine dump ------------------------------------------------------------------ NRA Benefactor . . . I am going with Sig Legion 226 SAO! The Sig Legion X5 and 226 DA/SA as close seconds. My Stacatto P Duo or DPO is close but the grip is not quit as comfortable as my Sigs. Lotta fun guns. PB

Right now the one I have the most fun shooting is my S&W 66 (no dash). There are a lot of people who can a revolver faster and better than I can, but I have a lot of fun shooting IDPA and bowling pins with mine

My most enjoyable gun to shoot would be my marlin 1894c in 357. Most enjoyable handgun would be my g34 because I shoot it so well.
