My go to is still a P228. But, if I’m wearing just a T shirt or something minimal, I’m carrying a P365XL with Wilson Combat grips.

The 365xl with those grips is amazing, and may become my default. But, for now, I have nowhere near the same number of rounds down range with it as I do 228s/226s, and so I am far, far more confident shooting the latter.

Upper is stainless and the lower is the coating by CCR (can't remember the exact name of it) it is starting to wear off... but by no means is that a criticism of them or their product. This pistol like me has been rode hard and put up wet way too many times.... but it still functions as well as the day it was born... not like me.

Same old pistol as the past ~18 years, but with a brand new TT Mike's Special:

Not pictured is spare mag in the same DelFatti SMC in use for ~15 years.

I switched to a 365xl a couple yeas ago from my PPS Classic, BUT, I didn’t find it as ergonomically instinctive as my Walther, so I switched back.

7 + 1 in the gun with one or two 8 round reloads is good for me, the load out balances well and I shoot it like a laser beam.

Confidence and and hits on target Trump hi cap mags for me.

After 40+ years of carrying a 2 1/2" 66-1, I just started carrying my CQB Elite this year. Needed to get a couple thousand, failure free, rounds thru it before I felt comfortable enough to do so. I must say, it does carry easier.

Pocket carry the P365.

Didn’t like the DeSantis, so I got this VersaCarry

It had a bit more gap behind the trigger than I liked. Yes, it was behind the trigger but I just didn’t like it. Plus the holster wasn’t great about staying hooked on the draw. SIG had this Mitch Rosen, so I figured I’d try it:

It’s definitely bigger, but is better about clearing on the draw, even though it’s tighter than the VersaCarry. It also seems like it could have room to get a micro optic on there, if I ever decide to go that route.

I'm a firm believer in carrying what I shoot the best.
I carry a CZ SP01 Shadow. If I need to size down I carry a Kahr CM 45, but that is rare.
