I went ahead and ordered one last week from PSA but not sure when it'll show up? I selected an FFL from their list that is near by for it to be shipped to. (I had stopped in the place last year and in speaking to the owner he mentioned he receives guns from PSA for customers.) I stop by the next day after ordering just to let him know one's coming for me and find his store is closed, out of business.

PSA won't let me log in their website so I contact them the next morning through their contact form explaining the FFL I selected is closed and giving them another one (a pawn shop not far away that I called and confirmed they do transfers). PSA replies 2 days later "it's already in the process of being shipped so we can't change the address, it'll have to ship to the closed store then when it's returned we'll resend it to the pawn shop".

Thursday I form contact them again asking if they could furnish the tracking number so I can see where it's at and when it arrives at the pawn shop? They replied yesterday; "since it has a serial number we can't give out a tracking number" and don't say if it ever came back to them or was reshipped. So I guess I'll check in with the pawn shop next week if I haven't heard from them.

Man, that's the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard of. Just a blatant lie. Roll Eyes

Yeah I thought so too. I've received tracking numbers on every firearm I can recall ordering so I'm not very pleased with their service now for a couple reasons. Here's a copy of their reply;

Hello Richard,

Due to your order 1212043xxxx being for a serialized item we cannot give out tracking information while the item is in transit. Please verify your FFL has your contact information so they can contact you once it is received. If the FFL requires you to provide the tracking number we can provide it once delivered.

If you have any questions, please let us know.
Thank you for choosing Palmetto State Armory!

I've ordered ammo from PSA before but this is the first firearm. Whatever.... I imagine now I'll be charged double shipping and maybe even a return fee. Still I'm looking forward to it.

PSA has both E26-9-40YR and E26-9-40YR-CE listed. CE is $50 cheaper…

My first handgun was a P226 in 40 S&W just before I joined here.

This weekend, we were moving a bunch of my stuff including cases for firearms that were in the safe. My two boys and one of their friends come out and ask what Sig hand cannon I own. Of course, I'm confused as I don't believe I own anything that would be considered a hand cannon except maybe the scoped S&W Model 629 with an 8 3/8" barrel. They said not that, they had opened a blue sig case, there was a magazine in the case so it had to be a semiautomatic. They judged the hand cannon status by the size of the foam cut out. It was the my P226 case.

I think I paid about $600 in 2007, so $699 now is a very good deal.

Reviewed both and can’t tell the difference. It appears the difference is the description and $50 Big Grin

Could CE be California Edition with 10-round mags? Normally SIG labels those CA, I thought.
