Is anyone else of the opinion/notice that the line checkering/serrations on the Mag Release are oriented in the wrong direction on the Magpul Grip Module? They are in line/parallel with the orientation of the thumb, as well as the direction manipulation by the thumb and would seem to provide little to no useful benefit IMO. Thoughts?

whomever is making these grip frames, I need one that is the same dimensional fit [or smaller] as the small version of the FUll Sized grip frame.

The medium or larger are too large for my fingers.

It seems most aftermarket are designed around the medium frame dimensions.

My problem is my short fingers for palm size. As a result, the medium makes the reach just a bit longer than makes me happy.

My ideal is a Full frame in a small dimension that doesn't have the area under the back of the trigger guard digging into my middle finger when gripping tightly. [or I just have too high of a grip on it?]

I tried that for a little bit, but it doesn't really gain you much of anything compared to just using a Compact/XCompact grip. The size savings is negligible, and you have a lower capacity and less substantial grip and beavertail in return.

That’s interesting, it seems a little smaller than the compact. The capacity for now wouldn’t matter for me as I didn’t grab P320 mags during freedom week 5 years ago in California. I have various cap mags for 9mm Glock, so I use my G26 mags with the Glock OEM +2. I imagine, after looking at Handgun hero, that my G26 with those mags would still be a bit shorter than the P320 subcompact.

I don’t think Wilson Combat needs to worry.
That beavertail needs to be cut higher, it’s the same or lower than frame in the trigger guard.

I got an email a while back that these were in stock on the Magpul site for sale. They are currently out of stock. Did anyone on here buy one? If so, what are your thoughts?

SIG is filled with a bunch of idiots.

Do they mandate that anyone who manufactures grips frames for the P250/P320 must have rails on the frames? I've been asking for non-railed grip frames for 10+ years.

I carry a P250 - subcompact (rail-less) frame with a compact slide, using an X-Grip extender on my mags so that I can get a good grip. This works for me. I have several back-up frames stored away in the event I need another frame.

You can occasionally find the subcompact frames on GunBroker or on SIG's site. But I have never seen compact, carry, or full-sized frames without that stupid ugly rail.

Phone's ringing, Dude.

I used to really hate the idea of a rail on a carry gun, but having carried quite a few with one now, I've found it really doesn't make a difference.

The great thing about grip modules, though, is they're cheap and they're plastic. Get the one you want and introduce it to a belt sander. Then dress it up with some fine grit by hand, and voila...rail-less P320.

Yep. If you don't want to use the rail, you don't have to. But many folks do.

Same with optics cuts. There if you need them, but not a requirement to use them.

The rail probably has a duel purpose of adding rigidity.

I’m curious what happened to the OD green grip module that Magpul originally advertised. Some online vendors still show that color as an option (out of stock), but it’s not listed on Magpul’s website anymore. That would be the one grip I’d be interested in, since I like Magpul’s OD green. The Wilson Combat green grip isn’t bad, but it’s kind of a brighter shade of green.

You could always try to dye a FDE grip module to get the green color you want. But that's hit or miss at best.

Yeah, I’ve dyed a number of things - AR furniture and mags - but this is one of those cases where I don’t want / need it enough to go to the trouble. If someone (Magpul) puts in out in OD green, I may go for it, but otherwise I’m fine without it.
