I looked into that but I had heard about the limited life so I ordered a couple extractors from Numrich before I heard about the grayguns mod so I should be good for a while. I was surprised they had them though.

It's supposed to be hard. If it were easy, anyone could do it.

I'm very pleased with this pistol! Finally got a chance to shoot it over the weekend. Only thing, the trigger is not bad but it's definitely getting a grayguns SRT and wolff recoil spring.

I GOT A COMPENSATOR! So stoked about it. Now I just have to acquire the proper barrel and she'll be complete! Did anyone else realize that the 2nd gen p220r slide assy will slide right on the p220ST frame! I noticed the internal features where identical so I tried it out and they BOTH will swap. So now I ALSO have the possibility of 2, 2-tone p220's!

^^^ Ah jeez armored, not well enough known to be a problem that I didn't hear about it! I have a 220ST but do not know its mfg year. How does a guy know if their pistol is included in the "problem lot"?

Any of the P220ST models with a internal extractor.

Thanks for clarifying that armored. When you mentioned "this was a well known problem for the first 220ST models with the comp rail", I took what you wrote to mean some of the initial production 220STs had the extractor problem and I was curious as to which SN range was affected.

I finally was able to find one local after wanting one for years. He also has a 229S in .357, but I was only after the 220. It doesn’t make it to the range as often as it should.
