Excellent. I still am debating picking one up as well vs original German folded slide or a combat.

Awesome guns. Ernest Langdon won the whole thing the first year IDPA held nationals. He used one. AND that included the 1911 gamer guys!

Thank you! They're mine(mk19 .50ae) and Dad's(mk1 44mag) lol. I bought the Multi-Caliber Kit when they became available again. It was kind of a childhood dream from seeing those catalogs at Keisler's Gun Store as a kid. The Kit has the mk19 in .50ae with the barrels for .44mag, .357mag and the bolt for the .357mag as well as a small handtool for removing carbon buildup in the piston chamber, all in that padded steel case. Those are stainless steel 10rd magazines for the .44mag we found on ebay that aren't supposed to exist lol. It's supposed to be hard. If it were easy, anyone could do it.

The 3 p200 series sport pistols and the comps are just pics for examples of what I'm looking for. It's supposed to be hard. If it were easy, anyone could do it.

Congratulations on the P220ST! That is my absolute favorite pistol. I much prefer that variant (with the proprietary rail). Good luck finding the comp and barrel. I’ve seen them pop up over the years, but lately they’ve been out of my prove range. Best of luck!

I had one of the more harder to find 220 ST's in factory nitron that I foolishly traded away 15-20 years ago. Dumb, dumb, dumb. That gun looks great.

Nice. I've given up on finding the proprietary comp. A 40 super barrel would be nice though ![]() ![]()

Very nice sir! Sucks that those compensators are so hard to find. I'm thinking of doing an SRT from Grayguns and a Grayguns fat guiderod with a Wolff recoil spring. I'm going to try and get a hold of one of those comps but it's looking grim lol It's supposed to be hard. If it were easy, anyone could do it.

What is you final goal? To have a racegun, bragging rights, something else? The Stainless P220 is a very "weighted" gun and reduces .45 ACP recoil very well on it's own. I had a P220ST without the "nose bling" and found it was pretty solid in the 10 ring area. It served for many years as the "bedside" gun, and since moved on and replaced by a SCAR 17 as I live alone (with 2 cats), and no longer fear harming anyone should it come to "going to guns". The cats know to run and hide under the bed when shit gets loud. "the meaning of life, is to give life meaning" ✡ Ani Yehudi אני יהודי Le'olam lo shuv לעולם לא שוב!

I think it looks cool lol. Seriuosly though, I didn't seek out the P220 ST, it showed up at my favorite gun store and I recognized that proprietary rail. I was very excited because I'd only seen those in pictures and movies and it had a good price. I don ![]() I've yet to shoot it so I'm really looking forward to it. It's supposed to be hard. If it were easy, anyone could do it.

I think you will be impressed. As sigmonkey said its weight on its own makes it extremely fun and easy to shoot. Between the weight and lowish pressure of the .45 it is just a pleasure of a range gun. I too used one for many moons as my bed side gun. Not my best shooting with mine but incredibly enjoyable none the less and frankly that’s what I really want out of her ![]() ![]() Take Care, Shoot Safe, Chris

That's a good enough reason. ![]() Pretty sure someone has one somewhere they bought and never used. Good luck on your hunt. "the meaning of life, is to give life meaning" ✡ Ani Yehudi אני יהודי Le'olam lo shuv לעולם לא שוב!

You should check into having the GrayGuns extractor fitted to your 220ST with the internal extractor.I get about 500-700 rounds through mine before the factory extractor needs to be replaced. This was a well known problem for the first 220ST models with the comp rail. If you look at the forum ARMORER section you will find posts about the GrayGun fix. I bought two of the Comps from Numeric many years ago, I think I paid $25 each, I bought two. You MUST attach the longer barrel (5" as I remember) if you run a comp or you run the risk of the fired bullet striking the Comp. When I installed the comp I realized very little gain from the comp. Not worth the trouble of the install except it looks cool.
