| Awesome guns. Ernest Langdon won the whole thing the first year IDPA held nationals. He used one. AND that included the 1911 gamer guys! |

| What is you final goal? To have a racegun, bragging rights, something else? The Stainless P220 is a very "weighted" gun and reduces .45 ACP recoil very well on it's own. I had a P220ST without the "nose bling" and found it was pretty solid in the 10 ring area. It served for many years as the "bedside" gun, and since moved on and replaced by a SCAR 17 as I live alone (with 2 cats), and no longer fear harming anyone should it come to "going to guns". The cats know to run and hide under the bed when shit gets loud.

| I think it looks cool lol. Seriuosly though, I didn't seek out the P220 ST, it showed up at my favorite gun store and I recognized that proprietary rail. I was very excited because I'd only seen those in pictures and movies and it had a good price. I don 't shoot competition just hobby and defensive training. I already have a newer P220r police trade-in that is awesome. So I guess it's more of a collection peice that I'm going to carry, so the Comp isn't a necessity but a desire. It is very comfortable in the hand compared to my P220r. I did the SRT and Grayguns guiderod and trigger on the 220r and it runs flawlessly. Probably will do the same to this one minus the trigger as this appears to have a skinnier trigger so the aftermarket stuff won't work but that's not an issue I like the trigger it has. I've yet to shoot it so I'm really looking forward to it.
It's supposed to be hard. If it were easy, anyone could do it.

I think you will be impressed. As sigmonkey said its weight on its own makes it extremely fun and easy to shoot. Between the weight and lowish pressure of the .45 it is just a pleasure of a range gun. I too used one for many moons as my bed side gun. Not my best shooting with mine but incredibly enjoyable none the less and frankly that’s what I really want out of her

That's a good enough reason. Pretty sure someone has one somewhere they bought and never used. Good luck on your hunt.

Hell I’ll argue that’s one of the best reasons.
