While I do have a number of SS pistols, I'm the opposite as I gravitate to double-stacks even though most might think that someone with the size of my hands wouldn't. Frankly I've been shooting thicker gripped guns for so long that double-stack grips seem much more "natural" to me.

But there's an even more simple, basic reason: those "high-cap" doubles are the ones the leftist evil-doers will ultimately legislate away first. So I feel as if I have to have my (more than) fair share of, and their even more precious magazines. For instance, there's little incentive to make/sell a G19 to civilians if we have a nationwide 10-rd cap in place given that the similar footprint G48 now exists, right?
