| I use the LN brand extensions on several of my mags. They work well for me, and give me that little extra bit that stabilizes my grip. My issue with them is loading the mags with them installed. I use an Uplula, and put the base plate flat on a table and bench to load. The problem is, with the curved extensions, the mag doesn't set flat. I have partially over come this by placing a thick magazine or thin book under the back side of the mag, making it relatively "flat" to load. A lesser issue is, in summer when wearing a light shirt like a Hawaiian print, the shirt sometimes catches on the pinky curve. This isn't a problem with IWB carry, and I often carry and XL size 365 when wearing these shirts. |

| quote: Has anyone tried the Pearce pinky extensions yet?
Yes, they work good for my large hands, along with one of those Hogue rubber slip on grips. I use my XL for concealed carry with a flush magazine and also for armed security in a level 3 holster with the Pearce. In my state I can't open carry the gun to and from the site so I switch mags and keep it concealed which is legal.. avoids having to secure the gun in my truck... 60 |
