From one of my former LE jobs, I have enough 124 gr. +P+ Hydra Shoks stashed away to take care of of any nightmare scenarios. But, I’ve always been partial to Gold Dots (124/147). I use the 147 gr. in the P228 and the 124 gr. +P’s in the G26. I just keep an eye out for good deal on the LE boxed stuff, whether it’s Gold Dots, HST’s or Rangers (which I’ve never had in 9).

Whenever I think I’ve settled the weight vs. velocity vs. barrel equation, I read a credible and contrary opinion. I can’t recall any feeding issues ever in my G26 or well broken in P228.

All of my FMJ is 115 gr., just because I can conveniently pick it up cheap and tax free at my local Wal Mart.
