Just learned of Federal Premium's ammo subscription program. They will send you five, 50-ct boxes of pistol ammo (American Eagle 9mm, .40 or .45) each month. Shipping is free. You must subscribe for twelve months. Early withdrawal costs you $300. The other good news? The 115-gr 9mm goes for $28 a box. Naturally, the other calibers are also overpriced. What a bargain! Thanks for nothing, Federal.

Just manufacture and ship the stuff. Why the gimmicks?

I stocked up on this 9mm ammo when it was $10--$12 a (50-ct) box, a couple of years ago. Must be, Federal intends to keep its prices insanely high, at least for the next year.
