I submitted an eForm 1 for an SBR on January 7. Couldn't find a place to do EFT fingerprints so I did that the old fashioned way. They were mailed on the 8th and arrived on the 12th. I received an email this morning with the approval. So, 24 days from date of submission, 20 days from when they got the fingerprints.

Form 4 trust submitted 1/14, approved 2/6. 3.5 weeks…way slower than November, but light years faster than pre-eForms Form 4s!

I was in the cue the 1st days of Jan, just got notice the device is with the shipper to me. That’s about 5 weeks.

I went with silencer central in SD.

Guess I’m a glutton for punishment. Certified two new suppressors today, even though I have a Form 1 from 1/8 still unapproved.

Edit: Form 1 from 1/8 finally approved 2/19.

New individual form 1 submitted today. Last ones submitted 1/2/26 took 23 days for approval. Curios to see how long the new one takes.

Also I only had to put in my PIN once. I know many of us have had to enter the pin multiple times on previous submissions.

I submitted seven Form 1's at about 1AM on New Year's Day. All seven of them got denied for incomplete address because the pdf reader cut off my zip code in one of the address boxes when I pasted it. Got all of those emails January 11th, and re-submitted them the morning of the 12th. I am still waiting.

Bought a new can today. Shop says they're seeing about 2-3 weeks, no difference between trust or individual. Several sub-24hr approvals this week. So... no telling.

I wanted to do two, thinking I’d get the first one through (to make sure I’d done it right) before submitting the second one.

Lately, I'm thinking I should go ahead with the second one.

ordered from silencer shop 1/1/26
Certified at LGS 1/23
Approved 2/20

Much much faster approval than I had anticipated given the absolute avalanche of what has been submitted.

I am guessing (hoping) that by the end of the year, we are down to one week between certifying and approval. that would be nice....

Got two Form 4s approved this morning that were certified 2/11, so 12 days. Form 4s seem to be about 2 weeks, which isn’t too bad, but Form 1 time is still crap. Still waiting for one certified 1/30, and my last one in from mid January took over 50 days.

All seven came back approved [/looks at watch] yesterday around noon, so 44 days. All in all, not a bad wait. Four were spare lowers, one was to finish up my 10.3" URGI, and the other two? My first SBS'! They were total "file and forgets" so now I need to source a 14" 870 barrel and Davis Speedfeed set to build my clone of my father's Scattergun Technologies Border Patrol issued shotgun from back in the 90's. The other is my 1921 Remington Model 11 that I'm going to have my machinist friend chop down to a Prohibition era gangster whippet. Far more excited about the shotguns than probably any NFA stuff I've done in the last year. Big Grin

Hoping my Stealth Additive Shiv comes back quickly. I'm working their booth at the EVT shoot in a month and they're bringing me a Tisha and I dunno what else.

I have been following these posts and seeing how quickly the approval times have been. Curious, I just called my LGS to find out when he submitted my paperwork, etc. for the three suppressors I purchased (everything was properly provided to my LGS in late January). My LGS just informed me that he had "some issues on his end" with my and another customer's submissions that "got returned for corrections on his end" that were 100% his fault. I would be grateful for any insight anyone could provide me for when a Dealer makes mistakes/needs to make corrections. Thank you SF
