I feel dirty after watching the ending. Big Grin

That difference was pretty minimal when you look at how much shorter the Tiny Beast is; that was impressive for something that size. Very nice.

I like that the Tiny Beast baffles are stainless. It opens itself up to more solvents and wet tumbling with stainless steel pins.

Are the baffles Cerakoted? That may make the wet tumbling a bad idea.

The only aluminum part is the end cap on the mini beast otherwise it's steel thread adapter, titanium can, stainless blast chamber, stainless blast baffle, steel baffle stack and aluminum end cap.

The Tiny Beast is titanium can, titanium end cap with stainless baffles and a steel adapter/blast chamber.

Here's the gutz of em.

The mini has a baffle stack with a blast baffle and chamber and the tiny has K baffles with the blast chamber as the thread adapter and baffle is the bottom cup on the stack.

Since these are .22 cans, when cleaning and handling the internals, use gloves to minimize lead exposure, I'd go so far as to use a dust mask when blowing the carbon silt from when you clean them with a scotch brite.

After reading your glowing review of the Thundercans, I contacted Shaw Armament and received a lukewarm response to my inquiry and was told they were not planning to produce more of their .22 suppressors any time soon as other of their models and calibers were taking priority. My LGS applied for dealer info and didn't even receive a reply. I was all set to purchase but their sorry ass attitude can go suck a raw egg.

My CMMG is MUCH cheaper, but not better. It does the same thing, but requires baffle alignment after being reassembled. This one does not because it has an actual gas expansion chamber. so the baffles don't need an aligned bleed port on them. The CMMG is every bit as quiet. The Shaw is better engineered and half the weight with better durability.

My Jekyll and Hyde is titanium, multi caliber and has actual installable baffles so the smaller caliber is actually suppressed while length adjustable for need, fully serviceable for easy care with a replaceable steel blast chamber to protect the titanium shell.

Take your cans apart to clear out the carbon. I'm waiting.

"Better" is subjective.

I guess you think yours are "better" because it's what you bought.

These work GREAT. Shaw is making then here in Atlanta as fast as they can. It's hard to keep up as they expand production. They just don't dump powder into a box and let a laser make them.

I'm glad new companies are starting up to offer suppressors to people at all price points and try new things like making the baffles and tube out of different materials. I'm glad you found a local business to support. I'm glad you're shooting suppressed and spreading the message. I just figured I'd see if I could push back a little on what I see as outsized excitement for some designs that frankly seem antiquated and outclassed. Your defense of the product itself so far is that it's user serviceable and made in Atlanta. Are these quieter than comparably sized and priced .22 cans is what I'm asking?

Then why just drop in and just shit all in MY thread? I didn't criticize yours. Your "figuring" did nothing but piss me off. It wasn't "pushing back a little", it was just being a smug dickhead. It wasn't helpful at all.

Seems I have inadvertently invaded "your thing" and caught some envy.

Whenever I see someone build themselves a retro AR, I cheer them on, encourage them, NOT criticize them.

I've stated several times I'm not interested in a printed can as they look goofy on my retro weapons. I'm sure they are fantastic. I find their manufacture fascinating. I haven't used one so I don't criticize them. They just don't fit my particular need.

You are basing your opinion on one video I just cobbled together. Not my fault it got the manufacturer's attention and they like the way I present my opinion.

I compared two of THEIR products and gave the video to my local dealer who stocks them. Now a customer will have a better to make a decision of a product that is on the shelf.

Once I finally get moved up to Dahlonega, I will be doing a comparison between my CMMG and Shaw suppressors. The Jekyll and Hyde is going to outperform both the CMMGs by a long shot, but the CMMG is half the price. However, the Shaw is a hybrid and can be adjusted for caliber and baffle count.

Mars is the only guy I've seen hyping this company. I'm glad he has some suppressors he's thrilled about, but there is far, far better stuff on the market.

There's far more expensive stuff on the market.
For the price, they're excellent choices for 22 cans.

But because everyone(or every fud) is wanting a big can, they had to concentrate on larger ones.

Many of us don't need a $1000+ can.
$300 or so it the right spot for a .22
Better? How much does a 22 can need to cost or just how complicated does it really need to be?

You turned my thread into noise.

I offered a review on suppressors I had access to and they work really well. The manufacturer for some reason saw my video and reached out. Yes, they are collaborating. I have to get this complete upheaval in my life straightened out first. My home is 20 years is being razed to put up more apartments.

You dropped in and took a shit in my happy thread and made me unhappy.

Thanks.

No, I mean it. I know who you really are now.

Stop.

Had to get that last jab in there. But, as promised. On both accounts.
