I feel dirty after watching the ending. That difference was pretty minimal when you look at how much shorter the Tiny Beast is; that was impressive for something that size. Very nice. I like that the Tiny Beast baffles are stainless. It opens itself up to more solvents and wet tumbling with stainless steel pins. Are the baffles Cerakoted? That may make the wet tumbling a bad idea.

The only aluminum part is the end cap on the mini beast otherwise it's steel thread adapter, titanium can, stainless blast chamber, stainless blast baffle, steel baffle stack and aluminum end cap. The Tiny Beast is titanium can, titanium end cap with stainless baffles and a steel adapter/blast chamber. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here's the gutz of em. The mini has a baffle stack with a blast baffle and chamber and the tiny has K baffles with the blast chamber as the thread adapter and baffle is the bottom cup on the stack. Since these are .22 cans, when cleaning and handling the internals, use gloves to minimize lead exposure, I'd go so far as to use a dust mask when blowing the carbon silt from when you clean them with a scotch brite. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! After reading your glowing review of the Thundercans, I contacted Shaw Armament and received a lukewarm response to my inquiry and was told they were not planning to produce more of their .22 suppressors any time soon as other of their models and calibers were taking priority. My LGS applied for dealer info and didn't even receive a reply. I was all set to purchase but their sorry ass attitude can go suck a raw egg. | |||
