Learning about them from Alan Kaye videos recommenced by a member here. Who makes a good Kukri and are they really as good as he says? ----------------------------------------- Roll Tide! Glock Certified Armorer NRA Certified Firearms Instructor

Bunch of savages in this town |
Check out a Ka-Bar. Fairly inexpensive. I’ve had mine for about 12 years, it has held up well, and it has been abused. Sheath holds up as well. Mainly use it as a camp axe, but I’ve also grilled meat over an open fire on it. https://www.kabar.com/products/product.jsp?item=1249 ----------------- I apologize now...

Here's a very recent Kukri thread that was posted in the wrong forum. https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...0601935/m/8350006674 Having a good title and posting in the right forum helps all of us. ____________________________________________________ The butcher with the sharpest knife has the warmest heart.

I've got a 10" Condor Tool Kukri, it's a workhorse for sure. Used it camping and around the property clearing brush and hacking stuff up

I’ve got a Himalayan Imports villager. It chops like you wouldn’t believe. Sadly, it’s kind of a one trick pony as it isn’t good for much else. It has taken an ungodly amount of abuse over the years and just keeps on going. I love the thing and it goes camping and has served to trim more than a few tree branches around the house. It wouldn’t however be my first choice in a “the world is ending and you can only have one knife” situation. This message has been edited. Last edited by: copaup,

I guess I’m leaning toward the Ka Bar unless anyone else has a suggestion. ----------------------------------------- Roll Tide! Glock Certified Armorer NRA Certified Firearms Instructor

That kabar looks a little on the thin side. Click on the links in the other kukri thread mentioned above, there’s a bunch of great suggestions

The Kabar I have used was NOT on the thin side. Was quite robust. Worked very well. 10 years to retirement! Just waiting!

Look at the Kabar/Becker Kukri BK21. James We the unappreciated must do the unimaginable and see the unthinkable to protect the ungrateful
