Curious, is all.

Started watching "In Plain Sight" with Mary Mcormack.

and was all good for seven episodes, unti I realized two things.

A. at the shooting range , no one's glocks had any recoil at all Eek

B.
most of the people that they relocate seem to gain employment at jobs
that seem very much like what they were doing previously.

wouldn't that make them pretty easy to find ?

I seriously doubt that anyone here who was in the witness protection program would disclose that fact on a public forum.

My first thought as well, though at work I was transferred to a team within an account I was on - strictly because my immediate manager was the customer and not one of my own company (6 teams - 3 customer led, 3 my company).

We called it being in the Witness Protection Program at the time. Obviously only minor correlation to the actual thing. Wink

For a great WPP movie, watch My Blue Heaven, starring Steve Martin.

Slight thread drift, but My Blue Heaven was based on Henry Hill, who was also the subject of Goodfellas. Interesting the different treatments of the same subject matter.

Given Rhino's comment I will state for the record that I am not in any witness protection program. Of course: I would say that if I was. But I'm not.

Really.

What is a meber? My Waiver says nothing about mebers.

Have I missed an Update?

Is this another 48 states only scheme to leave me out?

I swear we have a man in the witness protection program in my little town in central Illinois. He says he's from Iowa but sounds like he's from the Bronx or Chicago.

An old buddy lives way WAY out in the country. One of his very few neighbors moved in about 15 years ago. Somehow my buddy began to refer to him as 'the CIA guy'. Now & then he would concoct a rambling and usually pointless story of confusing and unverifiable claims, or attribute various wild assertions about mysterious behavior.

I've driven by 'CIA guy' place many times, never ever seeing confirmation anyone lived there. It does resemble a movie set. Rarely there will be a vehicle present, usually absent.

No one else has ever seen 'the CIA guy'.

I was beginning to suspect one of them is a meber.
