I always enjoyed Jim's sense of humor and read his posts when I saw them. Farewell to a mighty fine Drug Dealer.

He had a great sense of humor. We would exchange dirty jokes on email. A series he sent began "A cowboy walks into a bar…" Or a rabbi, or a pirate. But they were really dirty! Big Grin

At one point, my daughter was interested in the University of Richmond. He offered to put us up in his home if we wanted to tour.

He had been a pharmacist, and here he was "drug dealer."

Sad day.

Damn, is he survived by his wife? I know he had those poodles which will need a good home. Not trying to be insensitive, I just know they meant a lot to him.

^^^ As I recall, he had a girlfriend, who I think was his ex wife. And I think his poodle, Merlot pre-deceased him. Did he have other dogs?

I always read his posts and enjoyed 99% of them. I will miss him.

And, we adopted his method of making our fresh corn-on-the-cob in the microwave. It's the only way we do it now.

well that explains something,

he send me a note sometime last year wanting to discuss moving some of his firearm inventory, but did not reply to my email, or say what was the motivation (not that I expected it)

met him years ago, spent some time shooting at a local range and had lunch somewhere,

great guy,
he lived in the Museum district IIRC, and would walk Cary St (the area the uppity, kinda, and hippy types shopped and hung out,

said to hear
