Yep. Toronto has been invaded for 20+ years. Montreal is next.

Sad. I used to love going up to Ontario. It's still nice up in the bush, but down south? Muslim central. No thanks.

President Trump says he's hearing that Iran Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is DEAD, and that Iran desperately wants a ceasefire deal

"I’m hearing he’s not alive, and if he is, he should do something very smart for his country, and that’s surrender!"

“Iran wants to make a deal, and I don’t want to make it because the terms aren’t good enough yet,” Trump told NBC

On the Strait of Hormuz: “We’re going to be sweeping the strait very strongly, and we believe we’ll be joined by other countries who are somewhat impeded, and in some cases impeded from getting the oil."

On Khamenei: “I don’t know if he’s even alive. So far, nobody’s been able to show him."

I guess the best we could hope for is an Iranian/Persian version of “Operation Valkyrie”, in which the Iranian Army (Artesh) itself stages a coup and takes on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Iranian people might then be able to organize a transitional/provisional government.

Hard to tell what is actually happening there.

30,000 of the most enthusiastic were slaughtered last month, with the death of Khamenei, the heavy air strikes around govt facilities, the IRGC running a shadow government and their lackeys the Besij beating, torturing & killing anybody suspected of fomenting 'revolution' ...I'd say some shock has set-in.

This.
As has been pointed out, Iranian's are outing and IDing IRGC & Besij members on social media or, whatever method they're able to use given the blackout of online comms the regime has imposed on the general public. Information flow is limited, to include the regime who's area commander's on their own shot-off missiles & drones to even neutral & sympathetic neighbors.

As I've said before, the best thing we could do is is land a few C130s with a few million M4s and a shit ton of ammo and let the Persian paople take this over.

^^^^^^^^^^^given the circumstances, it’s a risky solution. Those people are untrained and undisciplined relative to firearms. I t’s the only lasting solution to the revolution that needs to happen. But releasing that much potential for destruction to a culture which has been without for generations, is unpredictable at best. How to control a wildfire once ignited?

There is a big difference between not having civilian firearm ownership and being untrained.

Since 1925, Iran has mandatory consription and every adult male must have served 21 months to 24 months prior to their 21st birthday. 2 months of basic and 19 to 22 months in regular army, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), or the police command.

You dig lines. We have complete control of the airspace. Let them go and quell any resistance.

Isn't this kind of thing exactly what the Green Berets were created for? Or has their mission changed over the years? I'm not talking about Delta here. The problem with this approach though, is that now we're talking about American boots on the ground in Iran, which is not something I'd prefer to do.

I read a carpel of days ago that some Marine units are being spun up and at least one of their amphibious assault ships is on the way there.

My thinking, given Trumps love of oil is that the Marines will do an amphibious landing on Karg Island and take control of Irans oil distribution..

Trumps love of oil?

America, and the rest of the world for that matter, runs on oil. Without it, everything comes to a halt.

My neighbor is Persian Born, escaped as his father sent him and his wife to the USA years ago. He has told me that Canada is a haven for Muslims from Iran, the leadership and those with power send money over, and their kids for "education" to Canada. They have been using this money to buy up lots of property, commercial and residential and bringing over more and more of their relatives. The old guard stays, and exports money, laundered through Canada and that money comes into the USA doing the same asset purchase to clean the funds.

Plenty of that money has gone into politicians coffers and considering it's substantial, the politicians let them buy anything.

How else do you propose we do do it?

Not a full on invasion, but limnited.
