| Peace through superior firepower  |
A very vivid time for me, that summer of 1969. I was 8 years old. Yes, I watched the landing live with my family. I recall being frustrated that the astronauts didn't just run out of the LEM 10 seconds after it touched down. It seemed to take a very long time for anythng to happen. My father took a pictUre of the TV screen with a Polaraoid camera. It showed an astronaut standing on the moon.
