I go out of my way to avoid areas where these herds tend to gather. Although the Disney example proves they are not completely avoidable. We get groceries weekly from Walmart and haven't set foot in the store since Covid. We became accustomed to the home delivery and never looked back. Even when I need gas I get it on my way in to work at around 6:30 in the morning when they are still hibernating.

Walmart, Convenience Stores, Waffle Hut, all shit magnets.

There was a time when people didn't do that shit in stores. Or McDonalds. Or Disneyland.

And definitely not in the Woolsworth.

This shit has always happened. It’s happened at Disneyland and restaurants and grocery stores and movie theaters and everywhere else.

What’s changed is the way police respond and how through social media this behavior is not only tolerated, it’s justified and celebrated by many in society.

Because the police are severely restricted and prosecutors refuse to do their jobs this behavior becomes more and more commonplace, but it has always been there.

Not nearly as often as it happens these days, and it's not the fact that cell phones are catching it.

And I’ve acknowledged that this behavior has become more commonplace.

I was simply responding to the claims that it didn’t happen, or at least didn’t happen in certain places.

And my post was that there was a TIME, when this shit was not happening like this. People used to go the store, used to fly on jets, wearing suits, same with restaurants. If you're saying that this ghetto mob violence was happening in McDonalds and Disneyland when I was a kid in the 60s, even the 70s, I think you're wrong.

It sure seems to me that the savages who embrace the ghetto "culture" are getting more brazen.

I couldn't do it. These officers are better men than me. I like that hard right whatever he threw, had some emotion behind it. Maybe now she learned men are just stronger and have some respect. Alright well at least the former.

I said exactly that to a prisoner who had just kicked an officer in the crotch, and bitten another one. I told everyone to quit fucking around and jump on her on the count of three. (She was swinging a loose leg shackle around as a weapon) after that,We carried her outside like a log, laid her on the asphalt and I told her that.

The sergeant referred me to IA over it.

Once I told her that the choice was us carrying her or her walking like a person she calmed down.

I got out of the IA because the Sgt was the one who instigated the suspect to act up. He was more upset because I cursed at the suspect and usurped his authority.

I would do anything to prevent being bit. I have seen some seriously horrible wounds from female inmates biting officers. The bites are bad enough and then you have the risk of a form of infection.

I have exonerated officers in investigations for hitting a women while being bit to stop the bite.

Yet another example of a situation that could have been easily resolved had the two women remained calm and talked to the officers. They elected to escalate that incident into a full on brawl.

I'm curious. Who taught these people that they are in charge when the police arrive? Seriously, I see this more and more on videos.

briachial stun...for the win. The male in red (not a coincidence) is throwing gang signs when the video pans up to him.

Completely surrounded by gang members...I don't see a problem. Hell he could have got up and started throwing neck strikes WWE style till there was bodies littering the floor!!

I had to go back and watch this as something stuck in my head. I see others noted it too, this whole concept of 'disrespecting'.

Disrespecting wasn't even a word when I was growing up. You may have shown a lack of respect, or may have been disrespectful to someone, but that word never existed in my world.

It seems as if, to a segment of the population, that any slight or even marginally disrespectful tone, gesture, word or phrase is green light to a complete beat down. Granted, there was a time in Victorian 'civilized' society that an insult could result in very violent outcome, but even then there were rules.

It appears, that these two ladies felt that someone in management at the store 'disrespected' their sister or 'jumped her'. I'm going to guess it was likely related to an attempted retail fraud. These two seemed to show up for some form of revenge.

I wonder how that worked out for them in the end...

I did notice that the guys, although very vocal, stayed out of the physical altercation where the women had no problem getting right in the officers faces. Gang signs or not even these guys knew to stay out of the way of mad women Big Grin
