In related news: With all but 15 counties reporting, the Colorado amendment initiative to enact state level single payer healthcare is losing with 79% voting against it. Trump was trailing by 2.5%, though it won't matter anyway. I was hoping we'd win here, too, though. Also, Maine voted to legalize Recreational Marijuana, as did California, Nevada, and Massachusetts, with Florida voting yes to allowing Medical, and the stats for the Recreational question in AZ are still pending. That's 8 states so far allowing Recreational... | |||

I went to bed early after an exhausting work day. I told myself I am not watching any coverage and when I get up I will see who the President is. Well, its 3:30 and I am grateful for what has happened. Yes, he may be a "first rate ass clown" BUT, he is now the 45th President of the greatest country on earth. If you could take away the South Florida jews and New England transplants with all their Yankee money, not a single person in FL would have voted for her. I haven't seen a SINGLE Hillary sign or sticker in Central or Northern FL, and not a single person I've spoken too was voting for her. Congratulations to President-Elect Trump! At about 9:30 pm eastern, I couldn’t stand anymore of the talking head what-ifs, and there was nothing else on worth watching, so went to bed. Woke up at 3:00 am and checked my phone. AWESOME! Been up ever since and went thru the 100 pages of this awesome thread that I missed. I really regret not seeing the talking heads meltdowns, so will have to look for videos of those. It’s a New Day – We Are Back! | |||

It's been reported now that Arkansas voted yes to Medical Marijuana, as did Florida and North Dakota. As for the Recreational Marijuana initiatives, California voted yes, as did Nevada, Massachusetts, and Maine. The Arizona Recreational stats are still pending. Like that stuff or not, it is historic. 8 states now allow Recreational, maybe 9 when AZ reports, and now two deeply southern and generally conservative states have finally voted to allow Medical, so in addition to the 8 Recreational states now - there are 28 who now allow some degree of Medical, and a few other states who have simply decriminalized it. | |||

I'm more thinking about our country and its future. I think perhaps our children, grandchildren and descendants now may have the opportunity to understand why we stand when the National Anthem plays, why we honor those who serve and served who kept our country free and why we were so darned serious about this particular election. God blessed our country on November 8th and has given us a new chance to Make America Great Again. Bob | |||
