Imagine just ONE of these leaks showing Trump involved with criminal activity. You would see the full force of the 'media' raising all sorts of holy heck with it, and it would be on 24/7. Trump would be finished.

Since the media is in cahoots with the hag, of course, it's nothing but cover-ups and crickets. This FBI thing, however, is just too much for them to ignore. Instead of covering it like journalists, though, the only real reaction we see from the MSM is how all the "on-air personalities" are in personal panic mode because 'their' candidate is tanking.

I tend to the "American Idol" school of politics. The vast majority of American citizens have no clue of the specifics of various policy options, maybe no clue who their elected officials are, but do know all the juicy details of "Dancing With The Stars" and "American Idol." We agreed in the other thread about the level of understanding of economics, pretty minimal.

Let's consider an example. Let's run a real straight talking conservative against honest, plain spoken liberal. Calvin Coolidge vs. Harry Truman. In today's media inebriated world, these two wouldn't get enough votes to even qualify for the ballot. The turnout at the polls would be negligible. A yawner.

Politics doesn't really matter, in terms of substance, except sound bites. Cheating isn't a huge factor for most people. After all, cheating is the national pastime. Getting caught is negative, however.

"Conservative?" Seems to be a label from the old game. If "conservative" means dismantling government by the elite for the elite and returning the nation to the people, I'll take what Trump is offering under that label.

I've found Summer Patriot Winter Soldier to be reliable and accurate in the past. I also note that in his blog entry he stated that the accusation could be a false flag effort to discredit investigating agencies.

Objection, non-responsive. Just being willing to oppose the Democrats doesn't make one a conservative. A fascist could be willing to oppose the Democrats, but wouldn't be a conservative in the sense meant by those who wanted "a real conservative."

Is Trump that "real conservative?"

Or do you like him more because he isn't at all conciliatory, regardless of his policies?

I think the answer suggests the latter is actually Trump's appeal, and not his policy positions.
