I don't think any of us get any pleasure from it. Is American MSM Pravda? No quite yet. But they're getting closer and closer every day. It's not negative pessimism, it's acceptance of reality.

Media is power, influence and money. Those seeking the most power and money have long understood the benefit to owning media to drive the power, influence and money their way.

Limbaugh has been saying the last couple days that if the left wins this election cycle the next stop for them is him and other conservative news talkers. He has been citing recent comments and editorials by left wing analysts as evidence.

They won't be handcuffing anybody as there are others ways of accomplishing the task of silencing the conservative voices.

He is brash and braggadocious but he is often with his finger on the pulse of what the left is up to.

With the censorship + shenanigans on Facebook and Twitter, the collusion of the DNC, msm and hillary's campaign I'd venture Pravda is at least honest in being a known propaganda source for the Russians. Our media still claims to be unbiased, at least publicly.

I agree with justjoe in that our current MSM is worse than Pravda. Pravda was officially seen as the newspaper for the Soviet Communist Party, no illusions about being a free press, freedom of content and thought, etc.

Our MSM, a one sided, extremely biased shill for the Democratic Party, is supposed to be part of a free press, an unbiased, objective entity protected by the Constitution, yet is the opposite of this. And the MSM arrogantly sees itself as unbiased, incorruptible by outside influences, and many people believe this. Pravda made no bones about what it was.
