Yaba-Daba-Doo!!!!! I fell asleep at 7 PM, no clue how election day was running. Woke up a 10 PM, rolled over and woke up at 4:15 AM. Best night of sleep in the last 1 month or so. Turned on the idiot box at 4:30 am. Local news. Well, only local election stuff being reported. Hmm.... No surprise that Oregon remained pretty much commie land.  At least measure 97 went down in flames, but it looks like the commies will be putting their hands in my wallet some more. Still only local results. Continued Hmmm.. Then a news blurb about booze sales being biggest ever, especially after 10 pm. Hmmm... Victors partying or loosers drowning their sorrows in the friend Al-Cho-Hol? Then news item about a protest at 4:30 AM? Near PSU campus in PDX hell? WFT? PDX security forces dispersed the probably small group of protesters. Starting to sound like Trump kicked someone's ass. Hmm continues. Then some chick was interviewed about her shop giving out ice cream and her concern about the future. Ok, starting to now sound like Trump won. Local news group did not seem giddy - which a Hildebeast win would have triggered. Get to work, some morning ops stuff and then go to web sites. Ding Dong the bitch is dead!!!!! All that RED - a vast bleeping sea of red. The blood from the tree of liberty is flowing across the country washing away many of our blues. No wonder I slept so well. God said - sleep, you need it. You'll be fine in the morning. Now looking at the sea of red, there are some close counts so I'll be a tad cautious. Then there is the actual Electoral college event in December. I do not trust the ruling class. Of course if Trump wins, gets inaugurated, and then gets shown the Zapuder film in the basement of the big house, well, we'll see. Definitely a scotch day today for me. Maybe even a bottle of the bubbly. I just added a couple of items to my wish list: Effective voter ID laws nationwide so that illegals can never vote. And, some serious penalties for anyone committing voter fraud or doing anything like what Robert Creamer did. Let the fraudsters starve. | |||

It was a Glorious night! I did not post but used this medium to follow the night. Thank you for that Para. I understand basking in the glory and the desire to rub victory in the face of your enemy. Life is short. I am going to choose to look to the future, not live in the past. I have felt in my heart from the very beginning that this would be the outcome. And am very grateful for the Good Lord for making it happen. I do feel there are great days ahead for our great nation and that is where I will focus my attention.
