I have lived my entire voting life in the Florida Panhandle, and specific to Okaloosa County, with expetions of being stationed outside of that and absentee voting.

As long as I can recall, I have provided my DL and had my name checked and verified to my home address in order to vote.

I recently had relocated to another precient, and during a mid term election went to vote and because I was not currently living in my precint, was able to do an absentee ballot, and was re-registered. Then when I moved back, I knew to change back to the other precint.

No shenanigans, and people take the voting process to include validating the voter is legitimate seriously. It is professional, quick and has appeared to be completly on the up and up.

I have always (until and since the whole Bush/Gore fiasco) taken it for granted (read, been naive) that people as a majority, did the right thing with voting.

Now, I believe that it is so rife with fraud as to almost be untrustowrthy.

This is not Hoemcoming and a popularity contest, this is about the very security and sovereignty of the individual to be free and liberated.

I don't get the punish the down ticket thing I see floating around Twitter. I understand the frustration, but no one is sure who's going to win, so the answer is to possibly hand her the House and Senate too?

In my opinion, we will not only see this Country fall to a level of chaos not seen for generations (if ever) but the world will most likely see a nuclear device detonated somewhere. Its what happens when no leadership and self interest prevail over the common good. But again, maybe thats thier goal. Look at how far down the hole we have slipped in just the past 4 years...nevermind the past 8 or 10 or 15. Realize how it has accellerated. Then look ahead if you can.

The Rinos see it as an opportunity to enrich themselves on the coattails of the results. The libs look at it as the chance to build the perfect society. (With them in charge of course.)

Sorry to sound so tinfoil and negative. I just dont see the next decade or two (or beyond) with much promise. I will keep plodding on however regardless. Fuck them.
Self interest over the common good. Well said sir.

If "they" are willing to go to this length, then it should leave little doubt the same people would not blink an eye with anything else down the road. Not. A. Blink.

Explain how 25% of the votes could be fraud without being detected. In detail. Specifics.

Because if they win, proof wont matter.

NYT says at this point in 2012, Romney had crowds of 30k in Ohio, much larger than Trump is currently having. Does anyone have insight into this?

I have not seen the tweets but how else will congress learn if theyre not voted out? Voting the ticket is like giving kids more priveldges for bad grades when theyre not completing thier studies?

There is a primary in two years. The only thing worse than her possibly winning is her winning and having the House and Senate too. From top to bottom we need to hold our nose this election and straighten the rest out down the line.

The NYT is reporting facts all of a sudden......yeah right. If Trump draws 50k Mittens was drawing 200k anything to make Trump look weak.

Oh believe me, I'm considering the source. I don't remember the size of 2012 rallies. Was hoping someone here did.

Nonsense. I was in several of those crowds. Romney drew well at many events but never with the insane numbers we're seeing at Trump rallies (I've been to 4 of those as well.) A good Romney crowd was more like 8-9K.

The point the NYT failed to also include is that Obama was drawing HUGE crowds at his rallies. He was very popular among those who supported his side of the aisle.

That's the difference this year that no one wants to talk about. Trump has huge support across the nation wherever he goes and Hillary....has virtually none. She has had rally events that drew less than 300 people. Her campaign wisely quit having them, for the post part, because they had to defend why no one was showing up. There just is no fire among liberal voters like there was for Obama.

I've said from day one that so very many libs are not going to turn out on 11/8 to vote. They have no motivation. They've had no built-up frustration for the past 8 years. There's no fire in the belly for change. They really don't like Hitlery.

The tell-tale signs we're seeing this year are nothing like 2012. Trump will win the popular vote. Let's hope that carries over into an EC victory.

Apparently Romney did draw an estimated 30-35k to one rally in Ohio. Also he did draw fairly large crowds compared to what Hillary is seeing now. There were comments made at the time that he was preaching to the choir and he needed to expand his base.
It does appear that Trump's rallies are in general larger, but it remains to be seen if his support is more widespread, or if he too is preaching to the choir.

People just need to cool it. Crowd sizes, yard signs, polls. Just cool it. The news media needs to cut this shit out, and so do we. Yard signs tell us nothing. Polls are worse, because they mislead us. Crowd sizes? Guys, we will know in early November.

I have said repeatedly that polls mean nothing, and yet, every time I turn around in this forum, someone is quoting some poll or other. Do you know what you're doing when you quote those polls? You are spreading the propaganda of the liars. OK? Figure it out. You are aiding the enemy.

Can someone in this forum- anyone at all- just speak up so that I know that at least my words are being read? I don't expect to change our attitudes towards this nonsense. At this point, I'd just be happy to know that I am not the only one reading these goddamn posts that say this to you guys. Please. Just have mercy, huh?

Early November, gentlemen. Until then, just maintain an even strain. Stop trying to divine the answer. You will not find it. It will find you, in early November.

I'll say this, though- if the NYT is actually taking time to publish stories about how the crowd sizes at Trump rallies means nothing, it tells you that the leftsts are very afraid of losing.

I agree.... polls are nothing but propaganda, which is why I ignore them and refuse to give them any weight at all. The morning of November 9th will tell the tale... until then, it's all just hot air!
