What will be the turnout of former Bernie supporters? Is there any backlash still lingering from the primaries. Of course, the same could be said about the fractured republican primary, although we have the hatred for shillery thing going for us.

Here on the border of Delco and Montco, I will say that you don't see many Trump stickers. But, conversely, you see few Hillary stickers. You see Obama stickers, but not Hillary.

Perhaps it's because the election is farther away, but I honestly don't see that much enthusiasm for Hillary. In fact, I'd say I've seen more Bernie stickers than Hillary.

Take that anecdotal information for what it is.

Trump has developed a habit of being late to his rallies and is setting a new record tonight in Wisconsin. 80 minutes late and counting.....

watching Trump in Wisconsin. He is nailing it .

trying to capture on the fly

"Democrats have failed the African American community"

"fighting for a peaceful regime change in our own country"

"Democrats have virtually ruined every major inner city"

"Democrats have tolerated a level of crime in our inner cities that is worse than third world countries"

    hitting pandering to teacher unions

    hitting govt corruption

"The main victims of these riots are law-abiding African-American citizens living in these neighborhoods," Trump continued. "It's their jobs, it's their homes, it's their schools and communities which will suffer the most as a result. There's no compassion in tolerating lawless conduct for anyone."

Trump charged that Clinton and the Obama administration have pushed a "totally false" narrative of widespread police abuse across the United States. "The problem in our poorest communities is not that there are too many police," Trump argued. "The problem is that there are not enough police."

"Those peddling the narrative of cops as a racist force in our society — a narrative supported with a nod by my opponent — share directly in the responsibility for the unrest in Milwaukee and many other places," Trump said. Clinton and others, he charged, "have fostered a dangerous anti-police atmosphere."

"The war on police must end, and it must end now," Trump said, again to applause. "Our job is not to make life more comfortable for the rioter, or the robber, or the looter, or the violent disruptor, of which there are many. Our job is to make life more comfortable for the African-American parent who wants their kids to be able to safely — safely — walk the streets and walk to school. Or the senior citizen waiting for a bus. Or the young child walking home from school."

"My opponent, Hillary, would rather protect the offender than the victim."

The MSM will bury this rally speech as fast as they possibly can. Trump is delivering probably the message of his life tonight in Wisconsin.

Wow....we haven't heard anything like that since Reagan. What a powerful message Trump offered tonight. I only wish the world could have heard it unfiltered. The MSM will butcher it for their own agenda and then quickly bury it.

Up here in Berks County I don't see campaign stuff for either Hillary or Trump.

Philly has been a Dem stronghold for a long time and is likely to make drag the rest of the state into the Hillary camp.

Donald J. Trump has shaken up his presidential campaign for the second time in two months, hiring a top executive from the conservative website Breitbart News and promoting a senior adviser in an effort to right his faltering campaign.

Stephen Bannon, the executive chairman of Breitbart News LLC , will become the Republican campaign’s chief executive, and Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser and pollster for Mr. Trump and his running mate, Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana, will become the campaign manager.

Paul Manafort, the campaign chairman, will retain his title. But the staffing change, hammered out on Sunday and set to be formally announced Wednesday morning, was seen by some as a demotion for Mr. Manafort.

Both Ms. Conway and Mr. Bannon are close with Robert and Rebekah Mercer, the father-and-daughter conservative donors who have become allies of the candidate and are funding a “super PAC” that is working against Hillary Clinton.

Bringing in Bannon has nothing to do with actually needing him. It's a move to appease the big-time donors who are funding a pro-Trump Super PAC.

While I doubt it will do much long-term harm, Bannon has a terrible reputation that will be easy to attack. Except for the PAC $$$, we would have been better off without him. I do understand that Manafort has been compromised and there had to be a figure-head change at the top. I just don't think Bannon was a good choice.

So who would you have chosen? Who is currently in the media, leading a successful AND rapidly growing media outlet that you would have rather seen selected? Some limp dick associated with Fox News? Republicans lose because they are little bitches who don't fight as hard as the dems. Bannon will hit the other side HARD!

A little offense from the Trump side will be a good thing.

That was a bit of a head scratcher. Already in trouble with women, so he brings in someone who just lost his job under sexual harassment allegations.

Actually... the last 48 hours have been the best Trump has had in a long time. He’s stuck to a TelePrompTer for two speeches and managed to avoid stepping on his message too much.
If he can avoid attacking Republicans between now and November... he may get more than 75% of them to come around to voting for him.

Trump has indeed been on a roll lately. His message last night in West Bend was one of the better political speeches in American history. The MSM has worked tirelessly to minimize the advantage and to spin and ridicule the message but they haven't been entirely successful. It makes the Bannon error even more frustrating, as it comes at a time when we were making great headway. I don't think it's a long-term disaster, as Bannon will be mostly unused by the campaign (he was appointed to appease the Mercer family.)

A week from now, with any luck, it will be a non-story.

Do you guys think he could have chosen anyone who would not be hellaciously attacked by the mainstream pro Hillary media? I like that he chose who he wants and that he chose someone who will push back at the bullshit.

I keep hearing how Bannon was a mistake. Who was the obviously better choice he should have gone with?
