Hang tough all we got this, or at least we will go down swinging.

And he was right about the $400 MILLION 'Ransom' paid to Iran.

Remember a couple of weeks ago the MSM scoffed at his statements calling it a ransom??

Who's laughing now?

quote: I don't think many people in our country truly understand the difference in this election compared to those of the past. They see it as "just another presidential election." The presidential election of 2016 is arguably the most important in our nation's history. It certainly has the potential to do the most damage since 1964.

Hillary is a totalitarian. Here is more evidence:

Lou Holtz onboard:

quote:
Legendary former Notre Dame Football Coach, and Donald Trump supporter, Lou Holtz has some off-field advice for the GOP nominee on turning his campaign around.

"Well, I think he can, but if he is going to, not only do his supporters have to vote for him, they better go out and recruit an awful lot of other people. I think this is the most important election of my lifetime and I'm an old man" Holtz told the FOX Business Network's Maria Bartiromo.

The 79 year old Holtz then explained what he would say if he were running Trump's campaign.

"I'd say you must take your message to the people and focus on what you're going to do. That's why the lord put eyes in front of your head instead of the back. Understand you aren't going to get fair coverage in the media and it's going to be up to you to get your people out and to believe".

Holtz viewed the negative media spin as a factor behind Trump losing ground in recent political polls.

"I defy you to find me a positive comment about Donald Trump in a major newspaper or on a major TV network other than Fox in the last two months. Now, when he was running, it was obvious the media wanted him to be the nominee, because they supported him, put him on TV. Once he got it, now they're doing everything but tear him down. You can't find a positive thing and you aren't going to tell me all the success he has there's not a lot of positive things."

According to Holtz the media has portrayed Trump as someone that can't be trusted, but he says Americans are more frustrated with Washington, D.C., including the recent allegations that the $400 million paid to Iran was in exchange for U.S. prisoners.

"Trust is absolutely critical and I think people are tired of what happens in Washington. Don't tell me that wasn't ransom, don't lie to me. You know, you lie to me because you insult my intelligence, you don't think I'm smart enough to handle the truth or you don't think I'm strong enough. Tell me the truth. And the truth does not come out of Washington."

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

He really doubled down on the points he hammered home in the West Bend speech on Tuesday. They are making a move for the Black vote in a big way. The Blacks in America have never cared much for Hillary.....I think this is a great strategy. If even 20% of Blacks who vote in battleground states were to vote for Trump, he couldn't possibly lose. Yes....Republicans have tried it before with no success. The variables are different this time.

Trump has gone to a prompter and he's sticking to the script pretty tightly. He does a great job of delivering his message and his writers are doing a great job.

When we get to November 8th, I do think it'll be this week, the week of August 15th, that the talking heads will look back to as the time when it turned for Trump and started to take off. I can't wait to be a witness to history.

I have thought so many times how awesome it would be if we could put skin color aside and focus on uniting voters who are honest and fair.

To me that is the raw power of the Trump movement. As off the wall as he is so many times, his core message is looking at the issues and telling the truth.

Trump is altering his campaign rally schedule tomorrow and is going to Louisiana to see the damage first-hand and visit with those affected. Obama has another day of golf scheduled while on his vacation. Hillary is still in hiding.

It's a great move.

On a different topic, why doesn't politico.com just come out and say they hate Trump and are campaigning for Hitlery? Geeeezzzz....

Holtz sees these things clearly, and is helping reinforce and spread an important message.

good move by Trump

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-...and-obama-vacations/

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and his running mate Mike Pence are going to Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Friday to meet victims of the flooding that has killed 13 and forced 30,000 Louisianans to leave their homes.

President Obama has given no indication he will interrupt his two week vacation in exclusive Martha’s Vineyard to visit the flood victims.

The president played another round of golf Thursday with television star Larry David and Bain Capital co-managing partner Jonathan Lavine.

The Obama family’s vacation is scheduled to continue until Sunday.

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton will be resting from the campaign trail on Friday, and will also not be visiting Louisiana over the weekend. She currently has no campaign events scheduled until Sunday, when she will be holding a fundraiser in Provincetown , Massachusetts featuring the entertainer Cher.

well Obama did interrupt his vacation

Obama interrupted his two-week vacation on Martha's Vineyard earlier this week to attend a fundraiser for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on the Massachusetts island.

Great, now all we'll hear all weekend is how "Trump is desperately trying to reboot his failing campaign" instead of all these great barnstorming speeches he's given recently and his trip to Louisiana while Obama golfs and Hillary naps.
