Does anybody besides me think that the presence of Mexican flags adds to Trump's support?

Glenn,

Don't take this the wrong way man but I think you need to have a nice drink, smoke a joint, cigar, whatever, lean back and mellow out. The sky isn't falling, if anything the pendulum is finally beginning to swing the other way. Try to be positive man. We are about to make America great again.

So many people seem to have expected the pendulum to jump from far left to far right. That's not how it works.

As I have said before, it needs to stop, slowly change direction, and then build speed. That's Trump.

A few weeks ago it looked like the GOP was heading to a contentious convention, but now the tables have turned and the Dems are in trouble. Cruz took a lot of heat the last few weeks of his campaign, but he did the right thing. He could have pushed things, but now Trump is eating popcorn while the Dems are ripping themselves apart.

Donald Trump is a petulant child. He has held every position on every issue depending on what was politically expedient for that moment. In an interview when asked about his rhetoric and whether or not he could be presidential he responded that he could be presidential but that he tells the people what they want to hear. He never has a solid response to a policy question. He has no idea what policy is.

I get it. People, including me are angry. Trump just happens to be the outside voice that most gravitated to to express that anger.

I used to pay attention to everything going on in our country. I watched Fox News regularly and listened to most conservative talk radio shows. I am a patriot and used to care about the direction this country is headed.

But now, thanks to Donald J. Trump I have turned it all off. I don't care anymore. I don't pay attention anymore. We're screwed anyway you look at it.

I am with you, brother.....or was. When I found myself disappointed in the American public one too many times, I stopped caring too. In a very real sense, I gave up and was turning my back on the whole thing. When I explained to Mrs DF why stopped listening to talk radio and had an over-all bad attitude toward the political struggle, she looked at me and narrowed her stare. "Don't you dare give up....don't you dare!" I was fairly shocked at how she reacted. I explained that I just didn't feel like fighting a losing battle anymore. She said, " Then you do it until you do feel like it. You give up now and you're giving up the fight for all of us who cannot or do not have the ability to convincingly make the moral argument for conservative principles." The fact is, she is right. And I am right now when I say, Glenn pick up your sword, take fresh passion and rejoin the fight by working within your sphere of influence. It takes a gradual pressure to turn a ship of this size. Leftist Progressives have tirelessly, patiently applied that pressure for over a century while the rest of moral society slept. I think Donald is the best move toward progress to the Right that can be made within the culture the Left has spawned. Do it until you feel like doing it.

Trump was put over the top in the Associated Press delegate count by a small number of the party's unbound delegates who told the AP they would support him at the convention. Among them is Oklahoma GOP chairwoman Pam Pollard.

"I think he has touched a part of our electorate that doesn't like where our country is," Pollard said. "I have no problem supporting Mr. Trump."

It takes 1,237 delegates to win the Republican nomination for president. Trump has reached 1,238. With 303 delegates at stake in five state primaries on June 7, Trump will easily pad his total, avoiding a contested convention in Cleveland in July.

Breibart article about Hillary and immigration.

I wasn't NeverTrump nor was I hardcore supporter, just been seeing how things develop. If even a shred of this info about Hillary's first 100 day plan is true though, I'm 100% on the Trump train.

It could be he thinks there is a good chance he will be running against Sanders. Shame though. I would kinda like to see Hilary get the nomination and then be tanked by the flood of consequences of her immorality right in front of God and everybody.

The Trump-Sanders debate is a sharp move by The Donald. Hillary will now have to do a 180 and try to beg her way into that debate.

Think about it. He sees the wedge in the democrat party and he is hitting that wedge with a sledgehammer by helping the weaker of the two opponents. Yeah, there is risk but I think it's a good move. The dems want to corronate Hillary but the support isn't quite there. Why not exploit a division in their party?
