What occurs to me is that in comparison to the length and bitterness of the primaries, the general election may seem quick and dirty. I wonder if there will be enough time for people to get their minds right to understand what the real objective is. It's not 'Never Trump' or 'Never Cruz'. It's 'Never Hillary'. Anything else is just foolish pride.

I'm not necessarily "anti" Trump...I just prefer Cruz. Maybe it's a Texas thang. At any rate, the thing that concerns me about Mr. Trump is:
1) first and foremost, can he unite the Republican Party and get the "NEVERTRUMP"-ers back in camp,
2) pick a VP that knows what the hell this game is all about and not some nitwit, and
3) MOST IMPORTANTLY, if the nominee, will he take the gloves off and street brawl Hitlery in the debates in the manner in which she needs AND DESERVES to be beaten down? Or will he pussify himself?

This is where I strongly believe Mr. Cruz has the edge...his debating skills and I think he would be more salient at bringing everyone together.

I'm still pissed off YUUUUUUUGE that Mittens let O'knucklehead off the hook in 2012. Of course Crowley and the LIBtard MSM didn't help.

Time for coffee.....

Pretty low class comment with the current results being

And this I'd have to agree with. It's these type comments that I wish Cruz would avoid all together. They're neither helpful nor high-minded in my opinion.

I started out a fan of Cruz but over time his actions and statements have completely turned me away. He never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

It's truly a shame Trump and Cruz didn't find a way to join forces.

Kaysuck and his stupid fans just need to give up. His only chance is a backroom deal and would lite the fuse that completely blows up the GOP, fracturing it forever and probably killing the party for good.

OMG LOL right because the independents would rather have the corrupt Hildabeast, or the self admitted Socialist. Eek

Commie liberal progressives hate the military anyway maybe they will like Trump more now.

I do not understand you all who are taking Trump seriously as a candidate. Hopefully he will continue to at least stir shit up and force out in the open how lame most Republicans are.

Never trusted or liked the guy myself but that doesn't mean I dont like some of the things he has said

Pennsylvania will be another case where the "voters" may have little influence on most of the Rep convention delegates.

PA has 71 delegates.

But only 17 of them are bound to the statewide winner for the first ballot.

The other 54 are not bound to the statewide or congressional district winner even on the first ballot.

One more reminder that we will need to come together to defeat Clinton.

http://www.breitbart.com/video...e-court-scalia-gone/

Thursday in Maryland, daughter of presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton Chelsea Clinton said the death of Justice Antonin Scalia last February is an opportunity for more pro-gun control Supreme Court justice to be nominated by her mom once in office.

Clinton said, “It matters to me that my mom also recognizes the role the Supreme Court has when it comes to gun control.

With Justice Scalia on the bench, one of the few areas where the Court actually had an inconsistent record relates to gun control.

Sometimes the Court upheld local and state gun control measures as being compliant with the Second Amendment and sometimes the Court struck them down. So if you listen to Moms Demand Action and the Brady Campaign and the major efforts pushing for smart, sensible and enforceable gun control across our country, disclosure, have endorsed my mom, they say they believe the next time the Court rules on gun control, it will make a definitive ruling.

So it matters to me that my mom is the only person running for president who not only constantly makes that connection but also has a strong record on gun control and standing up to the NRA.

This is one of those issues I didn’t know I could care more about until I became a mother. And I think every day about the Sandy Hook families whose children every day, don’t come home from school. And I can’t even imagine that living horror and tragedy.”

******************
FU Chelsea

adding:

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says Americans own too many guns, something she promised to address when she becomes president.

“When it comes to guns? We have just too many guns,” she said as the audience applauded. “On the streets, in our homes, in our neighborhoods.”

Clinton spoke during a forum on gun violence with a group of African-American women who lost family members in shooting. Former Attorney General Eric Holder was also present at the event, which was held at St. Paul’s Baptist Church in Philadelphia.

During the forum, Clinton urged voters to tackle the “epidemic” of gun violence in America.

Clinton praised Holder during the event, pointing out that the former Attorney General for Obama “was in a position to see a lot of this first hand.” Holder praised Clinton as someone that would help continue the progress made by the Obama administration.

“I’m confident that if we elect this woman as the president of the United States, that progress will continue,” he said.

What a Presidential disposition Donald J Trump showed today. Happy to meet with members of the media and clarify his positions on social issues. Such leadership is rare form in today's political landscape but Donald J Trump was able to rise above the other challengers and lead the way forward. His positions are clearly that of a man respectful of others and providing the leadership needed to unite this country.

His masterful understanding of the political climate and will of the people allows him to understand that in order to win a national election, understanding and compassion will lead the way forward, not preaching from the podium. There are several reasons for this. One is of course his brilliance, courage and determination. Another reason is he is not controlled by large donors and Super Pacs like his competitors. Ted Cruz is stuck arguing about who can use what bathroom, why raped women shouldn't be able to have an abortion and begging for another debate (as if the 10+ already weren't enough). Talk about someone that won't be able to pick up any independents. Meanwhile, Donald J Trump has his eye on the future and moves forward, leaving Ted Cruz in the past talking about bathrooms. Bravo Mr. Trump, Bravo.

Although I don't agree with what Trump said, I understand why he said it. He could care less about the transgender people, but he does understand that there are millions of voters who are sympathetic with their cause.

I wonder, are there enough hard core conservatives to elect a President in this day and age? I kind of doubt it. Only time will tell though. Maybe moves like this will pay off in the general, maybe not, we will just have to wait and see.

Ever since Trump's NY win they got their panties in a bunch over there. "The Case for Ted Cruz" has taken a back seat to Trump with all their rantings. Too funny.

Whoever opposes Hillary, I will vote for. But, then, however the election turns out, I will support the creation of a new party. The Republican Party is forever dead to me.

I've never really considered myself to be a Republican. Every time I warm up to the idea of becoming a republican the party does something incredibly stupid.

According to all the political quizzes I have taken I am a pretty hard core Libertarian who just so happens to vote Republican. (Sarvis ruining the VA gubernatiorial race is one glaring reason why I don't vote libertarian)

Much like the Democrats have been hijacked by fascists, communists, socialist pukes, and retards from inside their party I want to see the GOP change from the inside and become more libertarian....I think it could be a good thing for the party.
