Wrong thread..... ------------------------------ Knowing is half the battle! "When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. If the above posts regarding Cruz/RNC tactics turn out to be correct, I predict the biggest write in campaign on general election ballots that has ever been seen.

Bad dog! |
The RNC is rotten to the core. It consists of con men and schemers whose only interests are holding on to their power, and raking in money. Selfish pigs. One name sums it all up: Karl Rove. Need any explanation? The best outcome is for Trump to reach 1237. Whatever they are scheming will then be dead in the water. I won't say it in the Cruz thread, but if any are reading this thread because they see the writing on the wall-- this is the time to support Trump totally. The writing on the wall says: "Clinton or Trump. Choose." ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

I don't see where Ted has a numerical chance at this point, especially after NY and the NE vote goes for Trump. Kasich is the spoiler, he wants veep, and giving trump the win at the initial vote of delegates insures it, leaving Cruz out, shutting down all this nonsense. At least thats my observation, Kasich is the whore in church but he has delegates making it hard for the congregation to kick him out. OH is his ace. Either candidate needs him or someone like him, moreso Cruz than Trump, I don't think Cruz can win any of the big swing states, he was smoked in FL, blown out in OH, being abused in NY. TX will go R with or without Ted Cruz, he's not necessary for ether candidate. However a Trump Cruz ticket would be good for both jmo. ABC - Anybody but Clinton...

hello darkness my old friend |
Agreed. I am a cruz supporter but Its time to go all in on Trump. Kasich I think would be a good Veep. Make Cruz a supreme ct justice, or head of home land security. Ughhh, It pains me to say it but Go Trump!!!

He can get up to I think 90% of the 95 Delegates depending on the total Pct votes won in the state being over 50%.

Doesn't seem to have hurt Trump any. He has a massive lead right now.

Let's hope he keeps on rolling-- California, Pennsylvania-- and reaches 1237 before the convention. I don't count on Comey to stop Hillary any more than Roberts stopped Obamacare. She will be the nominee, and she must be stopped. This is not Trump against Cruz. This is Trump against Hillary. ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

There is no way I would take a chance on it, but I wonder how much of this hyperbole is just telling their target market what they think their target market wants to hear with no real intention to follow through?

I doubt they'd follow through and they'd just blame it on the republicans

My God I read the Cruz thread and it's like they all drank some liberal mind numbing kool-aid. Of course Trump won NY everyone expected it.... from the same people shouting Cruz won Utah and Colorado, look, look, see Cruz is on a roll..... All sense of reason is gone, convincing themselves he can steal enough votes to force everyone to pick Cruz at the convention. Oh well, back to work now. ------------------------------ Knowing is half the battle! "When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. It has been that way for quite a bit, you'd think Trump was the end of the world, he might be for the GOPe.

With all the whining in that thread this will only add to it Clinton, Trump hold strong leads in Connecticut, poll finds Connecticut, poll finds Published April 20, 2016 Now Playing Will the general election be Trump vs Clinton? Never autoplay videos Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton both hold comfortable leads in Connecticut ahead of the April 26 presidential primaries, with the GOP front-runner nearing the 50 percent mark among likely Republican voters, according to a new poll. The Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday shows Trump at 49 percent, with 28 percent for Ohio Gov. John Kasich and 19 percent for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. Five percent were undecided, while 25 percent of those who named a candidate say they could change their mind. Trump gets 62 percent of Tea Party members and leads among very conservative and somewhat conservative voters. The billionaire also gets 42 percent of moderate or liberal Republicans, compared to 41 percent for Kasich. “Connecticut Republicans have gone for outsider candidates such as Linda McMahon and Tom Foley. They continue that trend with Donald Trump,” Quinnipiac University Poll Director Douglas Schwartz said in a statement. “The conventional wisdom that Sen. Cruz is too conservative for Connecticut looks true, as he comes in a distant third in the Republican primary. Kasich clearly is outpacing Cruz for second, but running well behind Trump... ************************************************* NRA Life Member Capital punishment means never having to say, "You again?"
