Also, Tubetone, if you look at p.68 of the Republican debate thread here, Kelly said that his Better Business rating for Trump University was a "D-." Trump corrected her and said that it was changed to an "A" after they investigated the issue. Megyn Kelly insisted that that was incorrect-- it remained "D-."

That is false. Trump was correct, it was changed to an "A."

If you want a more conservative government you have to start at the local and state level, elect reps and senators, take TOTAL control of the legislature with power to override a veto and then with a president of your choosing you will have real power.
I have never understood what conservatives expected the house and senate to do in opposing Obama, given our slim margins. Impeach him? Never work, not enough votes in the senate. Refuse to fund the government? Newt tried that and it was a disaster for Republicans.
We have made good progress in taking over local and state level offices and that needs to continue and expand to house and senate seats before we focus on putting a lunatic in the White House.

As far as supporting Romney's attack, do you realize that if Trump was not in the race that speech would have been directed at Cruz? Romney and Co. do not want him in the White House either. If they did they would be supporting him since Rubio is doing horribly. But they are not. Matter of fact if the GOPe wanted Cruz they could throw their full weight behind him, force Rubio out after he loses Florida, and commence to pummeling Trump in a two man race. I like Mr. Romney's speaking style. Unfortunately, all I heard him say last week was, "...okay, here's what we need to do to lose..." Also bothersome is that he is part of the establishment conspiracy to defeat Mike Lee, the most conservative senator in congress. Mitt may be a decent guy, but he is not a solution to decaying individual liberties and social moral codes.

Though I am a Cruz enthusiast, I can see that Trump is likely the system shocker that is needed to damage the ruling elite.
