Let me know when you get settled in with the reality of the situation showpro. Forgive me, but for you to refer to yourself as a pragmatist is laughable.

That is one reason I stopped going to church. Some of the people there were hypocrites. You don't have to be a Christian to have treat people fairly. 41 41

Probably no lady. So, those nice people just called him up, huh? Looked him up in the white pages, he picked up the phone, and the rest is history. That's awesome. Listen, I'm sure he's done plenty of good stuff, given plenty of money to charity, and that's great. He can afford to do it and it's great that he does. And it's good business, too. Here's what Business Insider says: http://www.businessinsider.com...ble-donations-2015-8 Not exactly the most charitable of the rich guys. But we got into this whole conversation because I said I didn't think he was a churchgoer and now portrays himself as one because, ya know, Ben Carson and Iowa. I think that's right. So, it's a waste of your time to dig up articles about his charitable stuff and show them to me, because it doesn't change the fact that he hasn't given a whit of a care about church or Christianity until he decided that it would help him in Iowa. And I still think it wasn't Ivana sitting next to him watching NBC News telling him to save the farm. It's laughable. I think they barely talked to each other at that point, unless he was haranguing her about how the brass at the Taj Mahal needed polishing. And I doubt she would have given a crap about some farm in Georgia, either, in between picking out which diamond earrings to wear.

Anyone who lives in missouri doesnt call it missouri. Its either "missurah " or "misery". Your take on him is interesting. I suppose its about like dealing with any billionaire in your town that has a hand in things except are very good and annoying with negotiation. Lol para crackin me up with the 666 thing. Really? Because that's not why you said you posted the farm story in the Graham thread. So, you can understand my confusion. The comment from me that you quote above was a repetition of what PD said about people in the beltway. I think Trump's give-a-fuck level about the average American is about equal to those in the beltway. But it's just my opinion, like all of this.

Well truth be told I'm quite certain that regardless of the person I try to be now, there are some in my past that would loudly declare my scoundrelness. We are all on a path of refinement. Some of you are farther along than I. Some of y'all scoundrel types are way behind me. The point is for a man of Donalds reach, there are bound to be gruntleds and disgruntleds alike. Looks like showpro is one of the disgruntled. I would verbally beat Christies about the head and neck too if he had any chance of success and I don't even know him beyond his public record. No matter. Showpro will vote for Trump if he is the nominee. So we're good. Hadn't considered the 666 thingy though. I may need to consult the Ouija ball. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier

Oh stewardess, I speak jive. ![]() |
yes, of course, because there's no such thing anyway, and even if there were, Trump isn't anywhere near such extremes on his worst day, no matter how much of a big business bullshitter he no doubt is in some ways. which is another way of saying: even on his worst day, I'll take 100 Trumps over a Jeb, Hillary, Christie, Bernie, and many others, at the very least because he actually *might* bring something new to the table. if we're lucky. the rest are assholes of the worst kind - ineffectual assholes. this asshole (Trump) might actually accomplish something. (queue comments re working together and compromise, as though we don't already understand that.)

I thought his middle name is John. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Well, I've spent the last 15 years living with several billionaires in my town, including Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. And I worked at their company. They haven't been a problem at all. They do great things for the local community. I've sat and watched Ballmer coach basketball at the Boys and Girls club. I've bowled at the local bowling alley next to him and watched how he interacts with his kids. I've run into Gates at the movies and at the mall. I have tons of respect for these guys (though Gates more than Ballmer). They conduct themselves like gentlemen, they don't go around bragging about how great they are, and they're mostly invisible most of the time. It's a very different experience from Trump Town.

I wasn't endorsing him for president, just describing what Gates Town is like. ![]() Which reminds me. Gates Town is prosperous and continuing to grow, even after he's disengaged from the business. Trump Town is a shit hole. And now he brags about how he left and got his money out because he's so smart.

I read another article where Trump Polls a solid 6 points higher online because people are embarrassed to support him. The Trump \ Hillary Debate will be up there with Lincolns finest and I think Trump will get along well with Pootie-Poot.
