It's all about the media trying to control the narrative. They are used to telling you what they want you to think, all concocted in their spin bubble. People have figured out (some late to the party, but finally here) the MSM is the states propaganda arm and are full of lies and deception. And most people are, finally, not paying any attention to them. They see this, so are throwing anything out to try to get control back (it's the Russian's, it needs to be investigated). This is all an attempt to discredit Trump. If there were unbiased "journalist's" they would be investigating the Clinton Crime Family foundation, the wikileak info, the failure of obamao's policies, any number of real news. But they are not, they are creating fake news. They thought their typical he's a sexist, he's a racist, he's a rich guy, he doesn't pay taxes lines were going to work. They did not, actually the more they said it the more galvanized we were against them. Be prepared for more of their lies, best not to even listen to them.

Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.

So when a Producer from Access Hollywood releases a nine year old tape of locker room talk, they're not trying to influence the outcome of an election?

How is that any different than what the Russians supposedly did?

It's different because they had legal access to that audio. The same thing would be when they (the media) illegally obtained that old tax return and published it to influence the outcome of the election.

Illegal hacking to obtain info, illegal stealing a private document with personal information, same thing.

Meh.

The media had no issues with the illegally obtain tax return when it suited them. I'm finding it hard to care about wikileaks. We can wring our hands all day long about the source of the information, but you are dealing with an organization that is completely ok when the hacking benefits them. They only take issue when the hackers target them.

Hypocrisy is a powerful weapon.

Inevitable discovery.

Do you guys remember when the computer system in the executive branch was actually shut down for a several weeks a couple of years ago? It got almost zero coverage in the media, but it turns out the government shut down the system after learning from the Israelis that the Russians had hacked the executive office of the President and had been reading White House emails for who knows how long. The intrusion covered the White House, the National Security Advisor, the National Security Staff, the Office of the Chief of Staff, the Office of the White House Counsel, and many more in the executive branch. They believe the intrusion began in the State Department.

This seems to me to be a much bigger story than the Russians hacking the DNC, yet because it was discovered relatively close to the 2014 midterm elections, the media kept quiet to protect the Democrats.

Even with the current outrage over the hacking, no enterprising journalist has connected the dots and brought this major story to the forefront. I wonder if they will ever decide to investigate? I'd bet not 1 in 100 people even know it happened.

It would be such an easy story to place the DNC hacking in context of larger Russian cyberwarfare tactics, but unless it damages Republicans, the media just isn't interested.

It is often what is omitted from the news is more important than what is reported.

Why where the Democrats so vulnerable to hacking?

Yes, because the MSM will omit anything that exposes liberal's lies and crimes or makes Democrats (especially Obama and Clinton) look bad.

Yup, and add to it that the left is now outraged over hacking issues and was utterly silent regarding Hillary's home server while she was Secretary of State. Hypocrites with double standards. Butt-hurt children.

Faithless Republican elector is a serial oath breaker.

"The Republican elector from Texas who refuses to cast his vote for Donald Trump at the Electoral College wrongly claimed to be a first responder during the September 11 attacks.

Chris Suprun, a Texas elector, said he was one of the first on scene after a third plane flew into the Pentagon on 9/11.

But in fact he was not employed as a firefighter at the Virginia department he often credits until a month after the attacks, according to an investigation by WFAA. …"

Edit – I now see that this story was posted earlier in a separate thread.

So, I simply typed in "faithless elector" into a search engine. Here's just an example of what comes up:

Two separate stories in one day by the same Dallas TV station.

http://www.wfaa.com/news/local...-responder/371421191

http://www.wfaa.com/news/local...-on-reddit/371931045

See, this is what I was referring to when this first came up- any elector who is stupid enough to open their mouth and say they may go against the will of the voters they represent is going to find themselves in a whirlwind and had better be prepared for microscopic scrutiny.

Stupid, selfish asshole. I hope people hound you for an entire year. You deserve it. Really, you do.

BTW, a TV station west of the Mississippi with a station ID beginning with a 'W'? What's up with that?

States need to beef up their penalties for faithless electors. Long prison sentences and fines so exorbitant that it would give even Soros pause.

I grew up in St. Louis in the fifties and sixties. We had both W's and K's. I never understood it either, but there it was. Come to think of it, I suppose some could have been coming from the East Side, across the river, but I kinda doubt it. I might look into that.

Did they?
I thought it was a crime in California (location of the set of days of our lives, where the infamous pussy grabbing tape was recorded) to record audio if both parties are not aware?

The audio tape billy bush recorded was without Trumps knowledge. Which is illegal there, right?
