Donald Trump eclipsed a UN conference which fought valiantly in Marrakesh to preserve momentum on curtailing climate change amid fears the mogul will fragment the global effort and starve it of cash.

"The biggest impact, I think, is on financing... the US federal government's commitment to continue to finance clean energy," Alden Meyer of the Union of Concerned Scientists told AFP.

" The thing that people seem to be most concerned about is: will the US fulfil the remaining $2.5 billion of the $3 billion pledge President Obama made to the Green Climate Fund (GCF)?"

In a party in which “white privilege” was pro forma disparagement, those who were both white and without it grew furious that the elites with such privilege massaged the allegation to provide cover for their own entitlement.

^^That article nailed it. Thanks for posting.

AGREED ! Excellent article. Thank you for sharing Smile

The U.N. What a joke. Nothing but marxists and elites running the biggest RICO scheme ever known to mankind. They're worried their easy money is going to dry up some. Im sure we all have, but just take a look at some of the reprobates that wander the halls there...some of the biggest criminals and murderers in the world masquerading as "diplomats". Close the place. Send them packing back to the third world shit holes they rule over. While theyre at it, they can take Hussein with them.

Mr. Trump, please get the US out of the UN, and get the UN out of the US!

Otherwise, please carry on with the transition!

Great piece. It is actually borrowed from the Hoover Institution, an outstanding think tank affiliated with Stanford. If you like this article, you can subscribe to their quarterly publication and read volumes of equally good articles. Here is their website:

I assume their products are all available online as well, but I am old-fashioned. Smile

A friend of mine has a water powered portable generator for his hunting camp. It uses NO FUEL, only water to run. 5000 KW. It uses NO fuel and it works and works really well. I wouldn't believe it myself if I didn't see it running. Here's a link to it.

I bet in less than 50 years, cars will be running on something other than gasoline.

No way, that is B.S. Water is an endothermic material, it cannot produce heat.

Also diesel is an ideal fuel for ships. It is stable, easy to load, non explosive, and energy dense. Most likely diesel fuel will be needed for a very long time. Note that many ships run on bunker fuel, which is recycle engine oil.

Also that oil field find in Texas, I suspect the claim that it has 100 years worth of oil for the country is probably BS. Sounds more like spin from the democratic party.

And that's assuming that Clinton's votes are legitimate. I believe that is a very generous assumption.

The sky high blue shape coming out of Southern California is probably mostly legal and illegal latinos, hoping to bring their friends and relatives in. I have spent a year of my life in Mexico and Central America. I like the people and most of the culture. However the high birth rate and the corruption and not something I would like to import into the USA.

Please, continue to mock, chide, talk down to, and attempt to embarrass us because our views do not line up exactly with your.

That worked so well last time. Roll Eyes

'Vice-president-elect Pence we welcome you and truly thank you for joining us here,' Brandon Dixon - who plays Aaron Burr - said on-stage.
‘We sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights. ‘But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us. All of us.’

Audience boos Pence at Broadway show

This is the "diversity" version of Hamilton he went to see?

These people have no respect and deserve none. Pence took it with pride and and proved he was the better man in the room tonight. How embarrassing these liberals are to this nation.

I have to agree with Burge on this...

Like you, I've spent a great deal of time living and working in Latin American countries. I love the people and and I welcome those who want to embrace the United States and everything for which we stand, and come here legally. I know many who have done exactly that and they are great citizens. Many times they shame people born and raised here with regard to their appreciation and love of this country.

Yes, it's complete bull. There's no such thing as a generator that makes electricity/power using water as a "fuel."

Uhh, yeah, no...that's not true. Ships do not run on recycled engine oil. No. 5 and No. 6 oil (Bunker oil) is residual oil, basically the crap left over after the other oil and distillates are refined out of the crude.

I have no interest in seeing Broadway's limited interpretation of our country's founding either. I credit Mike Pence for being the bigger man and reaching out to fascists, and their sheep, but I am reminded of the Biblical passage that cautions against casting one's pearls before swine.
