Scott Adams has pretty consistently said that Trump does "pacing and leading" with his positions. If Adams is right -- and let's face it, he's been spooky accurate so far -- then perhaps "repeal and replace" was him pacing us. I expect Trump to lead us by raiding ObamaCare for the ideas that are popular and workable, then sell them to us so well we'll swear we always supported them.

Right now, though, he's naming these explicitly as ObamaCare not to get your support -- he doesn't really need it right now -- but as an olive branch to attract some Dem support; he knows he can't break a filibuster, so he's negotiating and moving his "offer" from "full repeal" to "repeal but keep some good bits".

In the end, both sides will grouse, but walk away feeling like they got a win.

I have been in a much better mood all week, even though I have been under the weather.

I predicted this to my friends and they couldn't believe that Trump could/would win.

I just knew that he would, the last few days before the election I could feel it in the air.

I woke up Wednesday to a country that now has a great chance to get back on track. I believe Trump is the man to do this!

With that said, the Republicans have a knack of snatching defeat out of victory. I say we need to hold Mitch and Ryan's feet to the fire, make then step up and work with Trump to "Make America great again".

I have come up with a way, that might just get their attention.

I have told this to afew people, and so far everybody liked the idea. It's simple, funny and to the point.

Here it is. The idea is to send them a box with a note, and a " present". Nuts.

Send them and if you want to add your Senator and Congress critter a "pair" of truck nutz. You know the "balls" people have "hanging" from their truck axles/ trailer hitches/bumpers.

A short note that says "If you don't have a pair here is a spare" "Make America great again" . " No appeasement, no crossing the aisle" "take bake America" "an angry American"


Just think if ol' Mitch and Ryan's offices were full of hundreds or thousands of balls! That might just make an impression!

Anyway, this is an epic thread and I have gotten much joy from it the last few days.
