So I had been kicking this idea around for quite a while. Had a deal hammered out and done in Phoenix. Ended up talking to the local dealer, who was willing to match the deals from Phoenix.

I’m now the very happy owner of a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

It’s built quite well for off roading. It is pretty well loaded with options. Stereo is quite kickass as well.

I have a 2015 TRD and my truck has been bullet proof since I got it.

However that Jeep looks pretty awesome.

I’ve always wanted a Wrangler, the Rubicon to be exact. Very nice vehicle and I’m pretty jealous.

My neighbor works for a local DCJR dealer & I've considered it.
We looked at a JLU Sport S a couple years ago & I quite liked it, my wife not so much.

When the time comes, it might be either a JLU of some flavor, or the new WL Grand Cherokee (2 row).

Congrats on the Rubi.

We had a Toyota Landcruiser in 1976 and loved it. Kids came and it went. We’ll get one of these next.

In the middle 1970"s had 1942 Willis. This was when i was US army/ ft. greely/ Delta Junction, Alaska ( 100 miles east of Fairbanks). Previous owner had installed a hefty roll cage , Aluminum Cab cover , and a warn 8000lb winch on front. the engine was a old school orginal 4 cylinder but the electrical generator could not keep up with the winch so I pulled out a alternator system from a donated chevy pu truck. With the old military style non-directional tires it could go places that you could not walk thru or want to try. Sure miss my jeep . .............................................. drill sgt.

Sweet rig, Beancooker. We have a '95 YJ. I don't get it out nearly enough though. Enjoy!

That’s a good looking Jeep. I had a 1978 CJ7 with a 304 V8 and still have a 1945 Ford GPW.

Nice jeep. I’ve got a 2014 Rubicon. It’s amazing where it can go. The sweet spot on these is a 3-4” lift and 35” tires.

How long is your list of planned mods/addons? Smile

Welcome to the club! Nice Jeep! Congrats and enjoy!

Currently own a 2017 Unlimited Rubicon. Quadratec and Extreme Terrain are the two websites that get most of my money.

Thank you all for the kind words.

The Tacoma was a good truck and it got us to a lot of really cool places. It also couldn’t go to a lot of cool places. It’s just not as capable as this is.

As far as the list of mods. Not a lot on that list currently. At some point I will lift it and put it on 35’s. For now it is good at its stock height. I’m itching for Saturday so I can get it out on the trails and lock them up.

Nice looking Rubicon!

Is that color Sting Gray?

I bought a 2021 Jeep Gladiator in that color four months ago and love it. I'm sure you too will love yours.

Looks like silver to me.
Sting is more like a glossy primer & darker.
