Well, Sir, I have almost 11000 posts here so far, and I'll bet my next meal that I've mentioned that very fact at least a hundred times over the last near-twenty years.

However, it won't harm to repeat it, just so you can make a note - 'The United States of America is the ONLY nation on Earth that has the Right to To keep and Bear Arms written into its Constitution'.

Quote - 'The right to keep and bear arms (often referred to as the right to bear arms) is a right for people to possess weapons (arms) for the preservation of life, liberty, and property.'

The Mexican constitution seems to authorize possession of weapons, although with some limiting provisions.

Doesn't it forbid owning military firearms?

^^and they can’t have “military” calibers…which is why the 38Super is an all time favorite of our friends from the south

It got worse. Now the law is "no semiauto pistol more potent than .380ACP, no revolver more potent than .38 Special". Who knows? The .327 Federal may wind up being the next .38 Super down there.

I missed that irony; his comment was just that fucking dumb on the face of it. Bu no wonder he can afford to be that dumb to think that way.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." The same arrogance and lack of concern for the citizenry was displayed just prior to the French Revolution which resulted in disaster for the elite; we can only hope history repeats itself as Macron seems to have forgotten it.

Not surprisingly, it's the same in France as it is here. The political establishment class, whether they be the socialists, the capitalists, the communists, the center-left, or center-right, they've all agreed to rally behind the establishment, technocrat shithead Macron rather than risk an anti-establishment candidate getting elected.

France should remove his protective detail and tell him that he can’t defend himself while taking public transport to work.

Bring back the guillotine for one week and I’m pretty sure a lot of problems sound be solved for a few more hundred years.

He appears to be the poster child for political planning.

I don't know her position on Russia, NATO, or Ukraine. All I know is she is a Nationalist. She is 100% France first. Period.

I do know that she is against cutting off Russia oil, but that is because she wants to keep gas prices and energy prices low or at least bring them down. Again, France first. She knows lower energy costs are good for the French people. That's all she seems to care about.

Her immigration policies are nationalistic as well but not near as hardcore as Zemmour's immigration stance. She's actually softened it seems on that end in the last few years in order to improve her image.

Perhaps the words 'authorise' and 'limiting' mean something different where you live, but it's clear to me over here that there is no mention of having the protection of a Constitution that guarantees your RIGHT to have firearm.

Here in UK the word 'authorise' is a weasel-word that means 'allows'. And 'limiting' means a control over the type and number of firearms you may have, IF and WHEN the government lets you. Just like here in UK, in fact.

She's been pro-Putin for years, and she's been trying to scrub that off of her record in this election - her big ticket against Macron is inflation, apparently.
