Trump will use his mugshot for a T-shirt. A great fundraiser for his legal fees and his campaign.

Donald Trump finally posted on Twitter

https://twitter.com/realDonald...ing-booked-into-jail

In my younger days I was envious of Americans who lived through times of great upheaval- the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War Two, because these conflicts and all which surrounded them were so richly interesting. I was naive enough to not factor in that those people were not viewing historical events from a safe and remote location- the future, where all which would occur in those conflicts was known and could be understood through the prism of history. I was inexperienced enough in this life to not comprehend that those events- now codified- were their day-to-day lives, and what that meant in terms of the uncertainty of what was their present.

There will be young men in the future- history buffs- who will look upon the events of the nation in the early 21st Century with envy, wishing that they could be here and be part of the things happening, because they will have the same safe, remote perspective where all plays out with the turn of a page in a history book, and I envy their knowing what will happen to us.

It is quite surreal that this is actually happening in America. Mugshot of the top candidate for the POTUS.

If not now...when? They are literally trying to imprison their political opponent and our broken media is on board. Dangerous times for the Republic. The RNC is a worthless organization and Trumps future and the fate of the country are in the hands of a misinformed public that has been lied to for almost a decade now.

Leftist chose the mug shot. Everyone knows what Trump looks like. It was a deliberate political strategy to make him take the mugshot. Their opinion would be that true conservatives are so attached to the idea of law and order that the mug shot will hurt him there and positively savage him with independents who think that the system itself is sound, but that crazies exist in both parties. It will be interesting to follow further developments.

HAHAHA!! The Babylon Bee...closer to the truth than the Lame Street Media!! Big Grin Big Grin

Is there a way on God's green earth to contribute to President Trump anonymously WITHOUT getting inundated with SCADS of e-mails from now until the day I'm worm dirt? I have a "throw away" yahoo email account, but it gets tiresome cleaning that damn thing out from all the spam and political sh*t. TIA!!

p.s. at which website do I contribute to assure ALL my contribution goes to President Trump and NOT to the RNC or some PAC bullsh*t??

Joel Pollak

Speaking personally, as a Republican voter who is broadly supportive of Trump and his policies, but who might have preferred an alternative, the persecution of Trump suggests there really is no alternative . A vote for Trump is the only way to protest what is going on, and perhaps to overcome it.

And it no longer matters whether this is all part of a clever Democratic plan to ensure that Republican voters nominate a supposedly “unelectable” candidate. It doesn’t even really matter if Trump loses this election. Few Republicans will consider that result credible. And the fight will continue, long after Trump, until the immense wrong of this moment — of six years of torment — has been remedied.

I was fearful of what a Trump mugshot might feel like. Not because of what might mean for the next election, but what it might mean for the country. I feared a sense of degradation. I feared that Democrats would not stop with Trump: the fact that the Georgia indictment — like the parallel federal indictment — criminalizes political speech really does mean they are coming for all of us.

But I found, to my surprise, once I saw the mugshot, that I felt excited, almost elated. Trump’s glowering face did not show pain or shame. It did not even show anger. It was a look of righteous indignation, the glare of a man who may be a prisoner now, but is actually in control.

This is precisely why Trump rules presidential politics. DeSantis, Biden, Vivek, they can't do this.
