Mike Purpura, Deputy Council for President Trump, just shredded the whole impeachment charade in around 40 minutes. Nice job sir!

Schiff has got to be sweating bullets because the Trump team is just getting started. He's going to be carved up like a Tuna in Japan by the time this is over. Big Grin

Jim

President Donald Trump Senate Impeachment Trial - Trump's Defense Team Presents 1/25/20

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

It is 2020, and Trump is still the Master of Media trolling.

I wasn't too impressed with Cipollone's delivery but the others really shredded the Democrat case, if you even want to call it a case.
Without turning this into a real circus, I'd love to see the Biden's (like many other politicians) exposed for what they are.
These politicians make the mob look like a bunch of amateurs. They really are professional shake down artists and are the true organized crime families.

I'm watching Chellim's video of the President Trump defense team. Only 40 minutes in, but this is good. Clear, direct, fact based savaging of the Schiff/Nadler ramblings.

What a contrast to Schiff/Nadler.

adding : change "good" to " awesome "

everyone should watch this. All 2 hours

I have a dream - I dream that at the end of this circus the Senate puts the paperwork of the two articles of impeachment thru a paper shredder. The Senate then assigns a group to solemnly emulate the Democrats' "March of the Toy Soldiers"
and march the shredded articles back to the front of the House of Representatives and dump them at the entrance. I have a dream...…...

I didn't want to see this at all, but since they're going ahead with it, I hope they expose all the bullshit the dems have been doing all along and make a damn example of them. Let the 2020 elections be a total landslide because of their arrogance, ignorance and corruption!

so after that awesome opening defense today, what did Schiff say?

https://www.breitbart.com/clip...e-to-help-him-cheat/

Schiff said, “First of all, what was most striking to me about the president’s presentation today is, they don’t contest the basic architecture of the scheme.

They do not contest that the president solicited a foreign nation to interfere in our election, to help him cheat. I think they acknowledge, by not even contesting this, that the facts are overwhelming.

The president invited Ukraine to get involved in our election to help him cheat against Joe Biden. That is uncontested, uncontested in our presentation and uncontested in theirs.”

They played that clip on Fox News earlier today. My mouth fell open so far I thought I'd get lockjaw. The unbridled, unabashed lying was (almost) beyond belief.

What Pelosi and Schiff have done is not (by definition) "Treason", but it certainly could be called "Sedition".

To be fair, it's not like Donalds defense team has a hard job.

They don't have to make up conspiracy theories, or go around looking for third string bureaucrats who think they heard somebody say they know somebody that may have heard something about Trump, or re-write statements to suit them, etc.

All Trumps team has to do is state the facts. If the Dems get their wish about calling witnesses, that shit's going to backfire on them big time. Just imagine all the crooked Dems that will be put on the stand when Trumps defense team gets to call their witnesses. All the big names are involved in one way or another.

This entire farce has been nauseating.

I have a dream - Trump is re-elected and, for some unknown reason, a large number of impeachment leaders are investigated, prosecuted and convicted.

I have a dream...

from CTH, interview w REP Sen Lankford and Sen Braun

https://youtu.be/5YTIoAVxi-M

"in a lawsuit, the first to make his case seems right, until they are cross examined"

Actually Schiff and Nadler didn't even "seem right" as they presented.

Schiff's comment about Republican senators "will have their heads on a pike" if they don't support President Trump, that did not go over well.

When was the last time we heard that phrase ?

In early 2017, James Comey listened to Donald Trump complain about leaks to the press. Of course we now know Comey and his buddies were all part of the leaking.

But Comey said to Trump that day,

“I said something about the value of putting a head on a pike as a message,” Comey writes.

Hey Jimbo, did you get the message ?

Adam Schiff is not just a lying asshole (like Comey) but he's delusional. He lives in an alternate reality where he may even believe his own Schiff.

The Democrats' Cognitive Disorder
https://www.americanthinker.co...nitive_disorder.html

A postmodern impeachment

The House impeachment managers have wound up their case for the removal of President Trump from office. With lead impeachment manager Adam Schiff, Dems got the man they deserved. For those of us who followed the rise and fall of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, Schiff must be the most notorious liar in the United States. He is certainly the most notorious liar to be celebrated by the mainstream media. We don’t need no stinkin’ fact-checkers to understand that Schiff will say and do anything — has said and done anything — in the service of his crusade to destroy Trump.

The mainstream media now celebrate the Schiff variation on the Epimenides paradox in his closing remarks Thursday evening (video below): “If right doesn’t matter—if right doesn’t matter, it doesn’t matter how good the Constitution is. It doesn’t matter how brilliant the Framers were,” he proclaimed. “Doesn’t matter how good or bad our advocacy in this trial is. Doesn’t matter how well written the oath of impartiality is. If right doesn’t matter, we’re lost. If the truth doesn’t matter, we’re lost.”

Adam Schiff, you’re lost.
